We loved our first trip to Castaways and look forward to going back! I'm afraid to give it too much props or I might have to wait for a table next time--but will still strongly recommend, at our own risk! Great service, great breakfast basics plus basics with a twist!
Nice little breakfast spot right in Arnold's Yacht Basin blink and you might miss it. Plenty of parking, love that they have outdoor seating (covered). Had a 15 minute wait on a Sunday morning. Menu has all of the good stuff and some awesome specials. Food took a long time to arrive, as did our chec
Castaways is a tiny little diner tucked into the marina. They have a simple diner menu and offer specials regularly, and best of all they have a wonderful shaded outdoor seating area. We love watching the goings on of the marina while waiting for our meal. The food is reasonably priced and always f
New breakfast place near our Thanksgiving retreat. Cute bungalow style restaurant back within marina property. Cozy dining spot. Great food. Corned beef omelette with roasted red skinned potatoes and toast. I liked the cinnamon swirl pancakes, light and fluffy. One star less for the coffee, weak and
Alyssa, our ROCKSTAR server, hustled through this cozy gem, hidden away in a marina off of Rt 35 this Black Friday. As w3 spend rime and discover more parts of NJ shore, we try to dine at new spots throughout the area. This nautical themed restaurant offers a nice menu u, competitive pricing and gre
We enjoyed breakfast here today. Our server was great. There was a 20 minute wait. We took first available seating which ended up being outdoors. The food was good. I had pancakes and scrambled eggs. My husband had two eggs over medium with home fries and bacon and wheat toast. The eggs were good fo
Great breakfast. Super menu. I hate let folks know how great this place is as there soon will be lines to get in. I hate to write this but here goes: "A rare gem".
I was enjoying the atmosphere and food so much that I almost forgot to take a picture! Super cute, kitschy, warm and welcoming. I am always trying to new places to try and I can certainly say this is a place I will be going back to. The wait for food was a bit long but it was a holiday weekend. I wi
Stopped in for lunch the other day after hearing good things about the cafe. Buffalo chicken wrap was superb. Onion rings were hot, fresh, and crispy. Friendly staff, and great service. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone in the area.
Great, Great service and the food was awesome. We had the homemade cornbread hash and the Biscuits and Gravy which had an amazing flavor. I ate the entire dish. Will be regulars as we are always in Point Pleasant.
Loved the mom and pop feel. Breakfast was great, service was awesome, packed, and service with a smile. We come from a family that works in hospitality, so it was pleasing! Kudos to Alyssa and the staff behind the scenes!!
Lil bit on the pricey side for breakfast. 11+ dollars for 2 eggs, home fries, meat and toast. Overall decent food.
I Stop for breakfast when I'm in the area, and they never disappoint. Always hot and fresh. And a great cup of coffee
The food was great and having the bay right next to us made the atmosphere unmatched. All the servers were very nice too.
This place was amazing! Food was spot on and staff was friendly and helpful. Pork roll sandwich was excellent ❤️
This is the best breakfast place in the area. Small family owned breakfast lunch spot, with the kitchen right in front of you when you walk in, watch the owner make you a delicious meal while you drink some great coffee. Super nice people, great food, homey feel, what more could you ask for.
Beautiful day. Beautiful breakfast by the water. Downright happy vibe; even the busy cooks were smiling.
Food is so so good. Prices are perfect and the vibe is great!
