Great local dive. Menudo has to be awesome. People bring there own vats to have filled up. Breads, cakes, etc. Traditional eggs & bacon with cakes available. The coffee is great. Friendly staff is attentive to all your needs. You have to give this a chance.
This is my favorite place to eat or take friends to try Mexican food. They have a large menu with many options. It will take you more time to find something you would not like there than like. Not only is the food great, but they have a large selection of pan dulces. Highly recommend.
Can't beat El Merendero for Taco Tuesday. My family likes the hard shell chicken tacos; we get a dozen for less than 20 dollars! We recommend the Tamales and the rest of the menu too.
Very nice environment, and service. Coffee is not very good, neither the menudo. But the place and the bread is really good!
