We had a great experience with John as our server. We had chicken parmigiana and eggplant parmigiana as well as an amazing dessert. Everything was tasty and well prepared and to be honest we had to take half
of our dinner home as the portions were enormous. Can’t wait to go back again.

I went to Gianni’s Italian Restaurant in Pompano Saturday night with another couple. I have eaten there a few times and this restaurant never disappoints. It was packed as usual but we only waited for about 10 minutes. The service was great. The food is outstanding. Huge portions that probably can be shared. Three of us had the chicken parmigiana which was delicious and it comes with your choice of pasta and a wedge salad with a homemade dressing. Our friend had the veal Marsala which was loaded with mushrooms and he said it was excellent. I forgot to mention the garlic rolls and the homemade bread that was amazing as well. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is such a treat.
Amazing food!! Good wine offerings by the waitress, attentive staff, and most of all amazing food. The garlic knots alone are worth coming back for. The house salad was also a must!! And both dishes we had were amazing.
This is a busy place, and you'll need reservations! However, we were impressed from start to finish with the bread, appetizer, and meals! Excellent! I highly recommend taking time out of your vacation or evening to come here at least once!
Delicious family style Italian cuisine. The garlic rolls were some of the best I’ve ever had and the overall quality of the food is amazing. You can tell this restaurant has been a local favorite for many years.
Of course Giannis doesn’t need another 5 star review because they’ve been in business for 35 years. Their food is authentic & the atmosphere is warming. The food they’ve been cooking & serving for this many years makes you feel like you are in Italy. The weight staff is on point, especially our server, Edgar. Giannis is a true Pompano gem.
Great spot to get your Italian fix! The Mrs & I came a long way & this is better than any place back home! Get the meatballs as an app, goes great with the garlic rolls. I could go on & on about this place, just put it on your list of places to eat.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. My parents and I were searching for a place and came across Gianni's just thinking would be a regular Italian experience....we were wrong. First, what a charming well designed spot! You truly feel in Italy with all wine bottles as decoration and Italian songs as a background. Second, the service is exceptional! A blond lady took care of our order and she explained the whole menu for us and gave us a suggestion to try the ricotta cheesecake which is made in the same day and I can assure was one of the best cheesecake I've ever tried in my life. My mom and I ordered eggplant parmigiana and my dad pasta with shrimp, which was cooked to the perfection. It is a bit pricey, but worth it every penny. Perfect spot for a romantic date or family gathering. Seriously, don't hesitate to visit that place!
Really enjoyed dinner here. We shared the clams appetizer, had the romaine salad, delicious garlic rolls and the house Chianti. By time main course came we were bit full. Seems typical here as everyone takes a hefty serving home. Delicious. Service was perfect. Highly recommend.
