Steak and Shake is a delicious place for a good, greasy hamburger and shake. It is fast food quality burger but it is a waiter table-service restaurant, and the service is very slow. They are consistently understaffed. The burgers are much better than normal fast food, but are not gourmet. On the other hand, the shakes rock! You have to try the Salted Caramel shake! It has small pieces of pretzel in it which give it good crunch texture and can clog straw (not best shake when driving).
Yummy But Slow. Steak n shake, has great burgers and great service. The combo meals are a bit pricier than the competition but in my opinion they are much tastier than the competition. If you're after one of their burgers you had better not be in a hurry because the service is a bit slow but I think this is mostly due to the fact that everything is cooked fresh but made worse by the volume of people coming into this new place.
Great quick bite to eat when traveling. They have the BEST milkshakes around! Mint Oreo is my favorite. Would've given 5 stars, but the wait once seated was ridiculously long.
Burgers were good. Lots of bacon on the bacon lover. Fries were thin and crispy. I can’t tell you how many places have soggy fries, it was nice to see them cooked to perfection. Shakes were tasty. Overall a great value and quick service.
Nice location, easy to find. Plenty of parking. Very clean restaurant and clean rest rooms. Food was tasty and the staff was very helpful and sweet. Our cashier even informed us about a promotion on our shakes to save money on our order. Large booths to accommodate bigger groups. I would appreciate it if they also offered knives to cut the burgers but that is just a personal preference.
Food is great and cheap! 24 meals under $4 can't beat that! I had the 3 shooters BBQ, garlic, and Cajun. Each we're very unique and tasty.

Never had a single complaint about this location. The food is always amazing, and the servers are always friendly and prompt. I understand this is a busy place; located right off the highway, right next to the airport, and in an area well-trafficked by locals. There's always a wait on the food, but it speaks to the skill of the staff at this joint that I've never had to wait longer than at any other Steak n' Shake location... especially with how busy this one always seems.

We stopped in Pooler GA on our way to FL and Christopher the general manager was very welcoming, kind and accommodating. We were very pleased with the service we received. The shakes were great! The burger was good although a little greasy. Overall, very happy with our experience after a long day of driving.
Being my first time here, I enjoyed the food. It was around 8pm so it took us a little while before we could be seated. Once we were seated, our waitress promptly took our order. She made sure we were good to on drink refills and happy with our food.
My husband and I visit this Steak N Shake in Pooler all the time. For the price, you cannot find a better burger without paying double. Sometimes the food takes a little while, but it’s reasonable as they actually cook the food. The service is great as well, every employee has a good attitude and excellent customer service skills. Basically, if you want a good burger for super cheap and have a little time, this is the place to go.
Great food at low prices, friendly staff and the shakes are fantastic
My mushroom and Swiss burger was tasty, and the fries we hot and fresh. The service was good and courteous.
On the downside, the men's restroom was out of order.
There was only one other table with guests. This was at 5:00 pm on a Wednesday.
