This is the best breakfast restaurant in port Angeles. The food is outstanding, the service is impeccable and the orange juice is delicious. They have rotating seasonal specials and I’ve never had a bad meal here. We love the atmosphere, and the owners are wonderful. I 100% recommend dining here.

Loved it. Favorite place I've visited so far. Excellent service, absolutely delicious breakfast, and most reasonably priced my wife and I have experienced on our trip so far. I ordered the Haven breakfast sandwich with their dark roast coffee, and my wife ordered the veggie omelette with a pecan scone. Where I come from, we have a restaurant called Skillets, and aside from breakfasts made in an iron cast skillet, their specialty is their scone. Haven's scone put theirs to absolute shame. Not only was it triple in size, but the flavor was out out of this world! I had to stop myself from eating it all so I could save room for the main course. The sandwich was really good with the mustard aioli and I enjoyed the potato's. My wife enjoyed her veggie omelette. I had a taste and it was really good with the cream cheese and provolone. Our server was on top of everything and she was taking care of the whole room by herself. No mistakes and was on top of our refills and orders. Normally when I'm visiting, I like to keep trying new restaurants, but I'd be hard-pressed not to come here again tomorrow.

Great little place! My friend and I are visiting from out of town and stumbled on this place. I adventured out and got the salmon omelet and OMG! It did not disappoint. Plus, a pastry came with it. Super good! Highly recommend!!

Best breakfast on the Peninsula! Don't miss the yeasted blueberry belgian waffle, and a fabulous egg dish, that I think is called the Haven Stack. These are both frequent specials, but may not be on the everyday menu. We split our portions and had enough with those two plates. The hashbrowns are amazing, l made of baked yellow yukon gold new potatoes, which are squashed then pan fried with other goodies in them. This comes with the Stack plate, btw.

GREAT breakfast. I had the Haven Veggie Browns and it did not disappoint (I'll order that again). Super nice staff. The place is small and tight, but they do the best with what space they have. "I'll be back"!

Great breakfast if you ever come to Port Angeles. Food is excellent and need to watch out for the queue as we have to wait for 30 minutes. But it’s worth the wait.

Lived in PA for a few years now and have never been inside First Street Haven before today… huge mistake! Must stop if you are looking for a breakfast spot in town.

Was visiting from Seattle and came by on a Friday morning for breakfast. I was expecting standard 'American diner' breakfast quality (i.e. expectations weren't very high), but to be honest, I was pleasantly surprised. While the menu looks ordinary, the food was definitely much better than your average diner. Ordered a French Country scramble and it was cooked very well with a generous amount of fillings. The hash appeared to use freshly grated potatoes and was perfectly pan seared, with a nice crunch without being greasy. It's the best cooked hash I've had in the past year. Another highlight was their lemon poppy scone which I chose instead of toast. It was baked in-house, served warm, and paired well with a side of salted butter. Having eaten and baked many scones across the country, I have to say this one was exceptional. It's not the dry, flour-y, mouth-drying scone you usually get, but a light, buttery, melt-in-your mouth kind of scone. It just signaled to me that the chefs in the kitchen cared about their food and knew what they were doing, instead of just going through the motions. My only nitpick of the meal was that the coffee could have been better! Loved the breakfast, staff were very kind and friendly - will definitely be back. 5 stars for sure, highly recommend.

I come out to Port Angeles a few times per year to participate in the local running series and First Street Haven is always on the list visit. The cinnamon rolls are a delicious treat to share. This time I tried the salmon omelette, French style and was not disappointed. Great small town diner vibe.

Best breakfast and lunch place in Port Angeles! For breakfast, I highly recommend the Garden Scramble - three eggs, cheese, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, zucchini, and onions with added bacon. Just delicious!

Fantastic breakfast, large portions, comes with a pastry which was above and beyond delicious. Had omelette that was fluffy and delicious. The bacon asparagus Brie special scramble that was excellent. Small place that was packed but service was friendly and efficient. Would make this a weekly stop if I lived here’s.

This is our favorite breakfast spot in Port Angeles. The food is both classic and unique and always fresh and well-prepared. Their drip coffee is great and they are always quick to refill. Definitely the best place to fill up on a good meal before a big day of hiking.

Small gem of a restaurant in downtown Port Angeles, perfect on the way up to Hurricane Ridge or further west into Olympic National Park. Alot of daily specials like quiche and coffee cake, but the salmon Benedict is great. It's actually a fairly small restaurant, it there's always some open seats. Is good for kids, with it's own kids menu. The bathroom is interestingly shared with the store next door.

We visited Port Angeles while visiting the Olympic Peninsula for three days. First Street Haven Restaurant, instead of being a convenient stop for a bite to eat, became one of the highlights of our trip. It is a bit small establishment but brands it as a cutesy ambiance. Easy to miss from the other side of the road because of inconvenient sign placement. Highly recommend for a traditional American diner experience. My wife and I are vegetarian and ordered one serving of traditional breakfast and one serving of veggie bagel sandwich. We were impressed with the simplicity of and still amazing taste of both. I would make a stop here every time I visit Port Angeles.

Refreshingly great food! We were desperate to find good food (there is none in Forks) and were pleasantly surprised! The coffeecake is out of this world, the espresso whip they put on coffee drinks is unique and so tasty! All of the food was well prepared and looked so fresh. I got a bacon and spinach quiche which was amazing! The sandwiches were also great with a beautiful simple salad on the side. One note: the restroom situation is not ideal. You have to go through the kitchen to get there and the bathroom wasn't very clean. Don't let that stop you from their great food, just know before you go!
