Visiting from out of town and stopped in to try and beat the rain. Really cool spot for breakfast. Staff was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. Food came out super fast and was delicious. Chicken fried steak was one of the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town.

Shirley's Cafe was very cozy, the food was good and the workers were all very friendly and helpful. It seemed pretty busy even though I went in on a Tuesday morning, but it didn't take long to get a seat, order and eat. I had a nice time sitting and enjoying my coffee and breakfast looking at the different things on the walls and ceilings. Worth checking out in the area for sure.

We went to this place for brunch before climbing Mt. Storm King. Classic American breakfast with good options. I tried the scrambled eggs with hash brown and toast. We ordered the waffle at the same time so it became soggy by the time we ate. Also, it had strawberry compote and not fresh strawberries which was rather disappointing.

The best kind of restaurant experience for me includes good food and friendly service. Well, at Shirley’s cafe you get that and more. The waitresses are experienced and good at it. I had the corned beef hash and it was delicious and plentiful. The eggs were perfectly prepared and the biscuit and graver were great. Parking is sufficient in front and street parking is available. We will have breakfast there anytime we are in Port Angeles.

Shirley's Cafe is an awesome little Mom and Pop restaurant. Decorated with old memorabilia, local sports history, trains, and various other things; this place will make you feel right at home. The food seemed all homemade too and was so delicious. The staff was so friendly and service was excellent. I definitely felt right at home, even though I was all the way across the country.

Perfect breakfast experience. We had the veggies with hashbrowns -- yummy. Also a waffle. Love this place and the little train they turned on for the youngsters. We'll be back to count the license plates. Service was impeccable.

As Sunday morning regulars (one of their first customers when they open), we always order the same food because its our standard and it's just the best. Always a warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere. Especially all the memorabilia on the walls and the train that circles the restaurant. Highly recommended! A staple in our family every week!

It’s really great great place to have breakfast! Very interesting decoration, hundreds license plate, lots of things from 1950, very nice and humor waiter/waitress. Most interesting thing, they have a small toy train which really can run, my two kids were screaming when it’s start running! I’ll definitely be there again next time if I visit Port Angeles.

Cool spot to eat and the food was excellent! I had the sausage breakfast bowl and my husband had the country fried steak. We were both very happy with our food and the portions. Definitely check this place out!

Really good gem we found with Shirley's after visiting Hurricane Ridge. Awesome diner food, potato salad was probably best I've had in a long, long time. Super fun atmosphere, nice staff, home made goodness.... Make it a stop for lunch. Worth it.

A decent breakfast/brunch spot in Port Angeles that you can visit to get a bite before you begin your day at ONP. I liked the distinctive decor of the place, all the license plates hung all over the roof, and toy trains running.

Excellent food. Picture included to show the perfect medium rare cook on their steak. The steak was really fresh, cut through like butter and tasted amazing. Cute little cafe!

First real "diner vibe" I've had since leaving the rural south. Classic breakfast dishes like biscuits and gravy (highly recommend) and grits. Service was state of the art small town hospitality and the building reminded me of old timey vintage stores, with music and military posters and even a model train rolling around. Get the biscuits and gravy- it's the closest to Southern comfort I've found in washington.
