Last Friday we decided to try something we have not tried in a long time. We went to the Red Lobster in Murdock Circle at 1331 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte. We were pleasantly surprised. The place was clean and we were seated promptly. Our server, Jailene, brought us our menus and got us our drinks. She was professional and helpful. We asked about the Shrimp Your Way and after she explained to us how it worked, we both decided to get that. My wife ordered Coconut shrimp and Walt's Favorite a and I ordered the Crispy Dragon Shrimp and coconut shrimp as well. They brought us a complimentary basket of biscuits, which were delicious. When they brought our meal. it was obvious they had my order wrong because instead of coconut shrimp, they brought me Walt's Favorite. Our server apologized and quickly corrected the error and I got my coconut shrimp. By the way, the Crispy Dragon Shrimp was fantastic and the pineapple sauce they served with the coconut shrimp was to die for. We were very happy with our meal and with the professional staff that handled our service. I feel it is a really good option. It is not fancy and the prices are reasonable. Even though they are a chain, they are a solid place to enjoy yourself. I would recommend them with a 4 out of 5.
My husband treated me to a surprise "date night" in order to enjoy their "Endless Shrimp" special. Unfortunately, they were out of two of the six choices of servings, but the four choices left were more than adequate and very delicious, and well prepared and presented. Our waitress, Marina, was a dynamo - on top of everything and everybody in her section - and doing it all quickly, with a brilliant smile and a bubbly personality. We truly enjoyed our meal, and the leftover bag for today is going to be devoured (Marina even added two extra biscuits)!
The house wine is Copper Ridge. It's good. Red Lobster offers some good specials. The crispy haddock is tasty. The broiled haddock is tasty as well but half the size; I'm not sure why. Twice. Salad is consistently nice and fresh. Calamari appetizer is enough to share. Service is typically great.

Was with a large group today for lunch. Ordered at 1:30 - fish & chips ($15 Friday daily special 11a to 3p). Received bill at 3:05p - charge for fish & chips was $17.99 (regular price ?). I based my tip on $15 special.
I have never had such delicious food in western florida. Only here I found that taste I have been looking for a long time.
Large plates with lobsters, shrimps and what not. So tasty , fresh and various kinds of shrimps. My favorite lobsters are also very tasty. I highly recommend everyone to visit this restaurant 👍👍👍
The service was excellent, but the food could have been hotter. My #1 complaint was the shrimp scampi tasted like steam shrimp in butter. The waiter told the cook whatever I said was missing, and my new dish was excellent
I have been meaning to write a review. Haven't been to Red Lobster in quite awhile. My wife and I had dinner there 2 weeks ago. Our waiter was a guy named Chris I believe. We couldn't have ask for better service and he had a great personality. Food was all excellent. Coconut Shrimp was amazing! We will definitely be visiting again soon!
First time coming here was absolutely slammed we did go on a Friday night the wait was 1hr 45 mins, but it’s worth it. It’s so nice to see young staff having a good time and still working hard, they were so professional and food was so delicious

We had a party of 20, the servers were very attentive and friendly. The food was perfect.
Had a great time here food was great. Hadn't been in a red lobster for a long time was a bit hesitant. Loved the fact that they had a staff member that makes Ballon animals kids loved it will be comong back.
The place looked dated, but they were able to accommodate a large group without a reservation, which we really appreciated.
I've never been to a Red Lobster before and this one was my first impression of the chain, therefore I didn't really know what to expect?
Although I ordered a steak (as I don't eat seafood) and only went there after a funeral, so our mood already wasn't great, the steak did come out exactly like I wanted it!

Our waiter,June,was so nice . When the older hostess gave him a section to sit us in,he looked and seen my cane . He ask he her if she had anything else. She spoke loudly and said I needed the exercise.
I have cancer in my spine and it's hard for me to walk .
As we were walking, he said I'm sorry, I tried. I told him she was very rude,that I had cancer in my spine.
We got all you can eat shrimp. My fries were cold . They bought the second plate and there was a chip of glass on my shrimps. The next plate was good .
June was the BEST and so compassionate.
I'm still upset over her telling him I needed the exercise.
Our seat was way in the back !!
