My waitress's infectious smile and bubbly personality brought me back a second day in a row. I'm a creature of habit and eat the same thing almost every morning....eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, orange juice and coffee. Everything was great. My new favorite breakfast location in North Port, FL.
When in the area, I stop in for breakfast. Great coffee and service is excellent!

Update: We went today with our son for lunch. This was the first time we've gone to Bob Evans for lunch and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent! Service by Julia was outstanding! 10 out of 10. Hi and see for yourself! ****My wife and I visited the Bob Evans Restaurant on El Jobean this morning. First time there. We were very pleased with the location and with the cleanliness and layout of the building. It was easy to find parking and easy to walk in and be seated. Once in, we were greeted by one of the staff and led to a table and asked if we wanted something to drink. We opted for coffee. The wait person gave us a menu before going to get our coffees. We were excited about the menu options and the prices. There was a great variety at a very reasonable cost. When they came back with our coffee, I ordered the Big Egg Breakfast, which was 3 eggs, I opted for sausage patties as did my wife, who ordered a stack of 4 buttermilk pancakes. We did not wait long at all and the food came out hot and well prepared. My wife raved about the pancakes and my meal was outstanding as well. Both of us really enjoyed our meal and the friendliness of the staff. We definitely will be back again soon! If you are in the area and are looking for a SOLID place to have a good meal at a reasonable price, I would recommend that you check out Bob Evans! You will not be disappointed!
Update: My wife and I went to the Bob Evans at 1050 El Jobean Rd, Port Charlotte, for Dinner tonight and we were very pleased. When we arrived we were seated and given menus and asked if we wanted any drinks. Our server, Julia, was friendly and attentive and allowed us time to make up our minds after she brought our drinks. I noticed that there were more people coming in, but the place was quiet and spacious. It was clean and bright and there were no smells to detract. The decor was obviously mid-America and with Bon Evans hailing from Ohio, it made the state proud.
Our food arrived not long after we ordered and it was fantastic. I ordered the Cod with Coleslaw and Corn and my wife ordered the Chicken and biscuits. By the way, my wife LOVES the biscuits! Julia brought 2 complementary biscuits to both of us and they were indeed tasty.
This was the first time we were there for dinner. The other 2 times we were there were for breakfast and lunch. All 3 times the food was consistently good and the service was excellent.
One Note. Our server was Julia and when I went up to pay, I left a healthy tip and asked for a receipt. However, when I got the receipt home and looked at it, it said that our server was Paul. I am not sure if the tip was credited to the right server. I will ask the next time I I am there. It just placed a question mark on the evening. It does not detract from the food nor the service.
Anna and her team were very helpful with my catering order. We have ordered for our team two thanksgiving’s in a row. Thank you for your kindness!
Stopped in for a really quick breakfast, grabbed sunrise meals which are basically two eggs bisquit or banana bread and a choice of side (hashbrowns, bacon, fruit, the usuals). Service was fast, food came out quick, everything tasted pretty good, and we were in and out in less then a half hour with a bill under $28 ish for three people. Perfect for what we were looking for!
I always like the food and atmosphere of Bob Evans. Good selection and tasty food. The staff was great and friendly. Food came out quickly and hot. I highly recommend this restaurant.
This place was great. It wasn't too busy for a Saturday night. The waitress did everything she could to make sure our orders were just right. The kids all enjoyed their meals. The pot roast I ordered was really delicious.
Take out is so easy. Best biscuits and gravy ever. And two containers of veggies soup. Yummy.
If I could give 10 stars, I would. I ordered the blueberry pancake breakfast. It was absolute perfection on a plate. It looked too wonderful to eat, but I did anyway. I have no idea who cooked it, but I asked God to bless him in a mighty way. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. 👌
Great service and the waitress was fantastic. The price was great. Strawberry oatmeal tasted fine but it was cold. Will go back. Kids loved it and it is a value.
Home style. Delicious. Damn good country food. An absolute definite recommendation!! Get the sausage gravey ;)
We enjoy coming to this Bob Evans often, usually for lunch on Sunday. The people are friendly and generally give very good service. I love their sandwich & soup entree. They make the best Beef Vegetable Soup!
Had never tried this chain before..ordered breakfast after a Dr appointment..needed comfort food and the pancakes and eggs did not disappoint

It was myself and my wife we had the place to are self we had gone in right at open. Staff was very nice welcoming. We both the double meat pancake breakfast pancakes where delicious. We will be back again for sure...
