I went there on 10/5/23 I walked in the place and everyone turned and looked at me and watched me the whole time I was in the building. I wanted to wash my hands and have a seat at the bar when a manager asked me if he could help me and I replied I was going to the bathroom and wash my hands so I can order something to eat at the bar. I was made to feel like I wasn't welcome in their establishment because I'm a black man and my green money wasn't any good there. I went to the bar and had a seat and was asked if I wanted to order a drink so I asked to see a menu and was handed a menu that didn't list the happy hour specials so I asked about the happy hour specials and wasn't able to get a clear answer so already not feeling welcome I decided to leave.
Hurricane’s is definitely the place to go! The service was amazing and the hostess there, Gianna was so kind and greeted us with a smile and sat us right away. She also answered all the questions we had about the menu and specials while ordering for take out as well. The food was amazing and tasted great.
I usually go during the week after work around like 8pm. There’s always this loud obnoxious guy sitting at the bar who I think is the manager. There’s generally only one bartender and this clown has to have their attention all the time.
Had time to kill with the wife, not often in the area and I found this location online. I know the brand and "Liked" it, but this location was "EXCELLANT!" Great service, fast, accurate, quick to seat and our server was one of the best I've had in a long time. I only wish they put a location closer to me than the Hauppauge location. Great selection of Comfort food and cool, comfortable ambience. BRAVO Port Jeff location! It must be a good place to work for because they had plenty of workers.

Great special. Buy a drink, half price meal. Ordered the grilled chicken taco, substitute with honey mustard, very good. Service very friendly.
