On a weekend trip to DC I found this spot on Yelp when I was looking for authentic Mexican food. The restaurant is very small so you may have to wait for a table. I ordered the guacamole and chips as an appetizer. The guacamole was some of the best I've ever had, very creamy with a kick of jalapeño.

LaParma is a great place to go with a group and eat family style. The portions are huge and the outside bar is a nice place to watch the sunset. Linda, the bartender makes you feel at home if you come solo and want to eat at the bar. The waiters all seem to be trying to outdo each other as comedians
