Presentation of each plate was great and it taste just as good as it looks. Service was slow but still helpful and polite. It was a good choice for dinner. And we're not rushed out. Waitress was really good.
I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a small girl. It is my mom’s favorite restaurant and I had the pleasure of going again this past weekend. The servers are incredibly nice and attentive. Food is always amazing and they have really good margaritas!
Ordered the Fajitas it was decent the veggies in the bottom of the meat was mediocre the Fajita itself was okay. BUT the Fajita with the Pico De Gallo was Fire. Rice was good beans are just okay. Overall not a bad experience. Waitress was very pleasant. Salsa and chips where fresh and delicious.
Pep's Mexican Steakhouse in Portland, TX, is a hidden treasure enjoyed by both locals and visitors. Nestled conveniently near the highway, it's easy to overlook, so stay vigilant.

Texas Pasta and Philly Cheese Steak were amazing. Manager, bartender and patrons, just phenomenal staff and atmosphere. Will absolutely make this a must stop when in town or passing through.
Just left Pep’s Mexican Steakhouse and had to leave a review. The service was great, we got seated quickly. Our server Joey was very knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended anything from the grill so we took his advice. The food was so delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Where to start? For drinks, we chose The Boozy Goblin, a special for the Halloween season, I presume. It was mildly sweet and rather refreshing, quite a good start to the meal. The salsa was fabulous--a somewhat mild green salsa that was delicious but tamer than the tongue-tingling red salsa. I
The place has a nice ambiance. Service is quick but prices are not the same with the menu. If the menu is outdated it shouldn't be used and must be updated, as I notice the difference in price with the check. I ordered a medium steak but it came out well done.

I really enjoyed eating here. I'm from out of town and working in Ingleside. Peps was recommended to me by one of the local guys. It is a pretty popular place it seems so I'm glad I got there early. I got some of their seasonal cranberry habenro wings and the Peps fajita plate. The wings were great

Best steak I've eaten in several years. Had Parmesan crusted Ribeye. Sweet potato fries, salad. All of it was amazing. The steak, perfectly cooked, tender, melt in your mouth and so flavorful! I'll be orderin again no doubt.

Food is great. Service was awesome. My only problem is that they removed the stuffed avocados which is the only reason why we go. Hopefully they can listen to the consumer and bring them back.
