Had a really good experience here. Stepped outside my comfort zone of usual eggs and bacon. Got The Portuguese fried rice, added a scrambled egg on top, and really enjoyed it. Capped it with an order of French toast. The entire staff was really friendly and inviting.

So good that we ate breakfast there twice! The Portuguese and Veggie Fried Rice were outstanding! Lovely, fresh beignets and a cozy atmosphere just added to the experience. Best breakfast in Portland IMHO!

this place is pretty busy throughout the day. I was lucky enough to come and I did not have to wait. Service staff was extra nice. 👍🏾 prices are reasonable this is the kind of space you come to for a first date possibly not a business meeting because it's kind of loud. it has this ambience of feeling like home. The food comes out hot & seasoned so thank God for that.

This GEM! Totally worth making the trip to downtown Portland. Open up with delicious coffee and teas, served with delicious beignets. Our party picked up the delicious Portuguese Fried Rice, savory Ed's Scramble, and uniquely and tasty Apple Frittwich. All of the food was phenomenal! Our hostess was polite and attentive. I really appreciated her not trying to sell anything she hadn't tried and giving honest feedback on things she had experienced. The dining area is a huge, fun, maze with turns around every corner. Recommend reservations, saved us some time in line on a busy Sunday. Most definitely will be back!

The foods are delicious and very yummy! We ordered fish tacos, the grilled fish was larger than the tacos. The Portuguese fried rice was tasty with eggs, sausage and green onions plus seasoning. Service was excellent and friendly.

The beignets are amazing. We sat down and the waitress brought us some complimentary ones and they were the best pastry I have ever had. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside almost the softness of a pudding, melt in your mouth I had the biscuits and gravy and it was really good. I don't know if I could day it was the best I ever had, it would have to be a little hotter temperature wise to be really amazing but it still was good The waitress was friendly and very helpful The atmosphere is excellent, the chairs are very comfortable. Great place

Stopped in on a work trip for breakfast. The thing that stood out most was the team. Everyone seemed happy, saw coworkers having fun together and cutting up a bit while also being speedy and handling a pretty packed house. Overall just a really good vibe here and my eggs benedict and mimosa were delicious.

I visited Portland two years ago and had breakfast there. The waitresses was kinda rude to me on the first time, but I came back yesterday because the food was delicious. The second try, a completely service, a completely atmosphere. The server was helpful and friendly. I always got the same thing that attracted me yo come back was Portugal fried rice and hibiscus tea.

Finally an enjoyable and peaceful downtown Portland experience for breakfast. Such a great atmosphere and the food is quality with unique flavors that make it so memorable. The service was slightly lacking, but they were busy and had just expanded to the space behind them so I won’t knock them too hard for it. I got the Croque Monsieur with the side of Cheesy Hash Browns. The sandwich was great with quality cheese, and bread that was absolutely delicious. The hash browns are a must have here, they are creamy and make for a perfect side. Totally recommend.

This is an extremely busy place and because I was solo I got to sit at the bar and watch 4 of the kitchen team pump out food with the efficiency of a F1 pit crew. It was unreal to watch. They gave me a sample of the Portuguese fried rice and it was delish but I went with a breakfast sandwich (little early for rice) and cheesy hash-browns. Both excellent. The hot sauce looked to be local and was amazing. The owner was present and working the room. He came over and chatted and told me a bit about the history of the operation and said some of his kitchen team has been with him for THIRTY YEARS. Everyone else was super friendly and they seemed to go out of their way to interact with the customers even though they were very busy.
