Worth the wait for a table. Gravy lives up to its name as their gravy is top notch. It was so good we got extra to use for Thanksgiving. The Chicken Fried Steak is a can't miss amd the pancakes are big enough to eat as their own meal. Super friendly wait staff as well.
WOW! That was my first reaction when the food came out. These portions are huge! The severs are great and overall atmosphere is welcoming. My partner got the smoked salmon hash (he broke the egg before I can take a good picture) but overall quality of the food is fresh and delicious. Each plate is $10-20 each but worth it. We both took leftovers home. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Portland.
The food was amazing. Very big portions and tasted delicious. The corned beef hash was so good. Big chunks of shredded beef that you could tell was fresh. I could only eat 1/3. My husbands plate was very generous as well. The hash browns were nice and crispy.

Excellent breakfast spot on the very trendy Mississippi Ave. All of our dishes were amazing and the service was friendly and prompt. Nice atmosphere that didn't get so loud where you had to raise your voice. Nice vegan options also. Looking forward to going back again!
Excellent food! We went in a large group and our food was still prepared quickly. Each portion was quite large and everyone was impressed with how good each dish was. The French toast was amazing! The pork was fantastic as well. This was one of my favorite brunch experiences of all time!
We had biscuits and gravy and country fried steak with hashbrowns. Country fried steak is very good, could use a bit more seasoning but overall one of the best we have tried and the gravy is fantastic. The hashbrowns were excellent, eggs were cooked perfectly, and the biscuits were nice and fluffy. The service and atmosphere were amazing as well! Definitely worth a try!
I was worried that this place wasn’t going to live up to the hype based on the reviews, but I was mistaken. MM MM WOW, it’s so good!! Also worth the wait. We came on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend & based on the reviews we expected the restaurant to be busy. It was packed full at 8:30 a.m. with a small group of people waiting outside. We waited less than 10 minutes for a table however larger groups were waiting longer. I got the Monte Cristo, & my hubby got the country-fried steak. We hardly said a word after our meal came because we were stuffing our faces & muttering “mm yummy” the entire time. The Monte Cristo is open-faced on a giant piece of French toast, with ham, Swiss, 2 eggs on top, & a side of syrup. You have your choice of various sides & I got the house potatoes. Hubby got the hash browns. 10/10 you have to check this place out! 🤩
It's worth the wait. The plates are huge and shareable. Was recommended to come from our RN in Legacy. And he knew what he was thanking about.
Thank you, Jonathan.
Had an Irish coffee and an omelet with gravy.
Will definitely return.
A little bit of a wait to get in. Make sure you go in and put your name down rather than just queuing like we did >.<.
Waited about 15-20 mins after that to be seated. Well worth the wait, the fried steak eggs and Hash were amazing. Really nice area too.
Nice little boozy brunch. Food is great. Friendly staff. Only complaint is that I went to the bathroom and they cleared my table. I understand turnover on busy days but not on a Wednesday morning.
