The staff are friendly, attentive and service is efficient. By far, the best Thai food I have had in a really long time. I will definitely return and recommend!
Hands down the BEST Thai food I have ever eaten! I have Celiac Disease, so going to restaurants is always a gamble. This is not the case at Thai Bloom however! I never worried once. They clearly know the concerns associated with needing to be gluten free. Their menu has indicators of items that are naturally gluten free and a separate indicator for those items that can be made gluten free. This may sound unnecessary to someone who doesn't have a horribly severe reaction to even the smallest amount of gluten, but to those of us who do, it was a godsend! I walked away from the restaurant feeling full and extremely satisfied instead of being sick! That is truly a beautiful thing!
Good food and drinks friendly wait staff! We called ahead because of a large group and they gladly accommodated us, had no issues with split checks and ordering times. Highly recommend the khoa soi and drunken noodles! We come here when we make it over the hill from Tillamook
Fantastic evening at Thai Bloom. The crab and cream cheese wontons were incredible, especially once dipped in the plum sauce. We also enjoyed the Chicken Pad Prik, Prawn Panang Curry and the Drunken noodles. Portions were plentiful and the mains all included jasmine rice. The service was amazing we would definitely return time and time again!
The warmest staff. best Thai food in NW Portland. The HH is always great healthy with Gluten Free options. But I had the Lamb Shanks the other day. I am a Big guy and I have to tell you bring a friend for these. They are sharable, tender and excellent. Attentive staff. Professional but warm and personable enough to fit right into the neighborhood. They are becoming a neighborhood favorite. It seems every time I go I see someone I know there. If you sit at the counter top there is always good cross talk with new friends.
Good looking place, lots of options you don't get at other Thai restaurants, and despite the high quality food and upscale appearance the prices are great.
We had a wonderful lunch celebrating my wife’s birthday. Waitress was attentive and helpful. Food was really good, I had a noodle dish and my wife had the pineapple curry. We both enjoyed it. Restrooms were also clean and nice.
The staff is friendly and attentive without being pushy and the ambiance is relaxing. The food was fantastic! I had the pineapple chicken curry and my friend had the salad rolls with prawns and we couldn't have been more pleased with the results! We both plan on taking our families back to eat there and Thai Bloom is my new favorite place to eat!
I ordered the Spicy Basil Chicken stir fry with brown rice. The atmosphere was very classy and pleasant (I almost felt underdressed), but the price (at least during lunch hours) was very reasonable. The food was good - the chicken was very flavorful, the level of spice was just right for my taste, and the availability of brown rice is definitely a plus. Also, the presentation (ie: the carrot cut into a bloom) was fun; I am aware from experience that it is difficult to make something homogeneous (like stir fry) look pretty, so the effort is appreciated.
It's hard to resist those seafood cream cheese wontons and Panang Curry. Love this place!

Food was delicious, cocktails were strong and yummy, and service was great! The hot towels at the end of the meal was the cherry on top to a great meal! Definitely will return next time I'm in Portland!

OMG…absolutely amazing. In town visiting our daughter and she’s taking us to all of her favorite places. This was literally the first stop right after we picked my parents up from the airport. The food was incredible and our server was wonderful. I am sorry i didn’t get her name because she was really friendly and attentive, especially considering we were a group of 8. Super cool place and definitely look forward to going back next time we’re in town!
P.S. I was hungry and excited and forgot to take photos of our meals but got one of the fried banana dessert!

Thai Bloom Restaurant is a wonderful place to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and I was blown away by the delicious food and excellent service.

We took my 80 + year old parents there for lunch. We asked for a quiet table due to the fact my mother has dementia. The staff was helpful and kind. It was a very nice way to spend the afternoon and the food was awesome!

First time dining here, and we were blown away. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing! Since we hadn’t been before, we walked in and were able to be seated immediately. However after a few minutes the restaurant was totally full, so I would recommend reservations. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We will definitely be returning!
The food here was amazing. The service was the same. The server came to check on us very often. There was someone always refilling our water. This is probably one of my favorite Thai resturants now. The food was so good too. I got a crab dish with some curry puffs and my fiancé got drunken noodles. The portions were plentiful, but the quality of food didn't go down. Great cook. Also, the tea was delicious.

Comfort Thai food, very good prices and decently delicious! The service was great. The food had the expected flavors blended in beautifully. What was expected to be hot and tangy, would actually make you run for water or sugar candies(in our case, the hot shrimps)! I would go back again.
Owner / staff are friendly and helpful, food is great, portion is huge. Ordered duck curry and lamb shank curry, both look and taste great. Good thing they have this outdoor tent with heating, so you can still enjoy you dishes there.
As someone who loves to cook and eat thai food, this place is top notch. We ordered seafood cream cheese wonton, kratong thong, pad thai and fisherman's fried rice. Everything was made to perfection and the presentation was also beautiful. The portions are generous and very reasonably priced. I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu. You must eat here if you love Thai food!!

This place was SO good. I got the cashew chicken with mild spice and it was VERY mild wish I would have gone up some spice but the flavor was so full. This is one of my favorite Thai dishes and this place may have done it the best. I ended my dinner with the three flavored sticky rice with mango. Presentation is was lovely, but i was a fan of the texture. Everything was yummy but I prefer my sticky rice a little less tough. I’d still highly recommend this place! I also love that they have brown rice options for a healthier twist.
My party had the Pad Thai Noodles with shrimp, Drunken Noodles with chicken and shrimp, spring rolls, dumplings, spicey chicken wings and the chicken fried rice. The spring rolls were fried too hard and had the oil taste on them and the dumplings were okay. The Drunken Noodles were absolutely amazing with either chicken or shrimp! The food came out hot and quick and our service was good. Definitely a spot to visit!
Best salad I've had in a decade (and I don't say that lightly). Their summer menu includes a fried asparagus salad, and WOW, delicious! Get here before the seasonal menu goes away!
They were open to having my mastiff puppy join me on the outdoor patio, very grateful for the friendly service and delicious food!
My friend and I went here after visiting the Japanese Garden. I got the yellow curry and she got a red curry. We were both really happy with our meals, the curry was so good I could drink it out of a cup lol. All of the staff there were really nice and attentive, they stopped by ofen to fill our water.
This review is only for the food during Happy Hour. The portions for happy hour are as expected. The quality of the food is not the worst but not the best either. The selection of food on the menu is good. We tried steamed Edamae Beans, fried vegy rolls, Spicy Basil Checken, and Drunkin noodles.
Amazing food! This little gem in nestled in old town. You have to try it.
