Oven and Shaker serves up some excellent and unique pizza, but don't skip on the salads, either! The arugula salad was a surprise and smash hit at our table- wonderful vinaigrette played beautifully with the bitterness of the greens, and there was a LOT of salad there. I usually regret ordering a sa
It's still a good place to get some tasty wood fired pizzas and sides when in the area and in need of something good. We had the mushroom and the Margherita pizza this time. The mushroom was a bit better than the Margherita, in my opinion. We also had the Arugula Salad, which was very good and also
Always a fan of this establishment—I’ve been coming here for years for the friendly service, great pizza, and delicious cocktails. If you’re looking a fun, low-key dinner in the Pearl, definitely recommend.
We enjoyed the crispy chickpeas alot! Ordered the maple pig pizza which was very interesting, but also one of the most unique and delicious pizzas I've ever had! Waiter forgot about our burrata, so we didn't get to try that but we were full anyways. Also tried a non-alcoholic that was really good!
Picked it up and went to the hotel rooftop nearby. Fantastic pie with tons of flavor from the ingredients. You end up taking more time to capture all the flavors. Honestly worth savoring every bite while you strap in.
I thought the pie would be small but it's much more than you think with the crust
A grate place for pizza lovers! The pizza crusts are soft and delicious. Descent vegetarian options. We ordered ‘the pearl’ and it was super 😋. A place worth visiting while in Portland.
Love the pizza here. They make the thin crust wood fired pizza pretty well. We had the mushroom pizza, roasted beet salad. Taste is excellent, Ambience is pretty cool, very friendly servers, and it's right in the heart of downtown. I did think the prices were a bit pricey for the portions. All in al
I went there on a Tuesday night. The hostess was very nice and welcoming. She was able to get me right in at the bar. The restaurant had a great ambiance. It looked like lots of different types of people were there (families, couples on a date, friends meeting up, co-workers after work, etc.). I
Some of the best pizza I've ever had, truly. It's extremely fresh tasting and everything seemed of great quality. The service was also lovely, we were in there during a slow period. Cocktail was also exceptional! Coming back here is a must.
This was a great place to eat pizza and grab some drinks. The restaurant layout is excellent and it's open with a long bar. The inside is beautiful and the bar and bar backdrop really set the tone for the restaurant. We ordered the margarita pizza and added prosciutto and arugula. They piled on the
From the moment we walked in the door, everybody was so warm and welcoming! Chase took care of us for the evening, and even helped me choose a beverage. I thoroughly enjoyed the pineapple trainwreck cocktail and we ordered the pearl Pizza, and it's the best I've had in years! Will definitely be comi
I often look for nook and artisan establishments when eating out. Oven and Shaker is the definition of Artisan wood fired pizza. Many people do one of two things.. eat food to live or live to eat food. I am definitely the latter of the two. Other reviews complain about "raw" or not firm toppings. Th
I liked the ambience and arrangement of this restaurant. I sat at the bar and enjoyed chatting with the two beautiful ladies at the counter. The pizza tasted fresh and I enjoyed the white glass of wine on happy hour too. The sparkling rosé was delicious and I enjoyed the happy tunes playing in the b
Excellent pizza! We had the mushroom and the pepperoni. I lean toward the mushroom for overall winner, but the pepperoni was solid.
The roasted olives were legit! I’ve only ever had them cold, but roasting them enhance the flavor tremendously.
Comfy restaurant, amazing bar decor.
Food really good, the cocktails menu is very interesting. Highlight for Fallen Yellowjacket.
Service really good and fast.
Great neopolitan style pizza! Started with a fried risotto with mozzarella which was nice and crispy. We had the Margherita, Mushroom, and Maple Pig pizza. The Margherita was a bit too saucy but delicious nonetheless. The maple pig was a nice balance of salty sweet. It is a bit of a fork and knife p
Unique pizza and craft cocktail joint. They excel at both. The pizzas are the thin crust sized for one person. The meatballs are good. Especially the sauce. PRO TIP: If your drink calls for sweet vermouth, ask for Carpano Antics. Check out my profile for more great eateries and cocktail bars. ✌🏼✌🏼
Food was good, the pizza crust is VERY good and the meatballs were flavorful. Their house red wine is also lovely. The SERVICE is what I came here to review because I feel as though restaurant service has been on a decline but this place was great. Waitstaff was attentive and kind. I would come back
