Roe - Portland - Photo album

We had the four course meal with traditional caviar. The service was friendly and fast and the food was fresh and delicious. Every dish was packed with tons of flavor. If the chef's tasting menu is sold out the prix fixe menu is still an awesome experience. Hopefully we can come back and try the ta
excellent dining service. casual cool vibe with no pretentious airs though the open kitchen looked very serious. quality ingredients, amazing sauces and attention to details down to the tiny herbs and flowers on the dishes. caring and attentive service made the evening special.
Really fantastic food. Had the fixed menu with pairing and everything was amazing except the timing. The waitress was bringing out dishes well before we were done with the previous dish. A small issue, but for $250/person, the little things matter.
The best dining experience I have had in Portland. After eating the salmon I thought "this is it, that's the best fish I've ever had" but then they brought out the seabass, which was somehow even more delicious. From the photos you may think that the serving sizes are small, but it ends up being a l
The food is good, price is fair, but the service pacing needs major improvement. The time between serving each course is too long and varies to much. I was there for 2 hours for this 4-course dinner. In the same 2 hours elsewhere I'd usually be having a 6- to 8-course meal. Service is attentive ot
Seriously tho, this place was so far above any expectations that I might have had. The service was exceptional and the wine pairings were spot on. Most definitely in the top 3 of some of the best meals that I've had in Portland.
I highly recommend the chef's menu. The food was spectacular and plated with such creativity and beauty. The service was also top notch. Thanks for an unforgettable evening!
I've been Roe twice, tried both tasting menu and chef menu, foods and services there are soooooooooo good! I've been a lot of good restaurants here in Portland, tried different tasting menus and chief menus, Roe is definitely the one of best restaurants I want to visit again and again.
I came here a couple of times last year for special occasions and again this year for the Portland dining month. They never dissapoint. I recommend adding the caviar course.
The food was SO delicious. One of the best places I've been to in Portland. We went for our anniversary dinner and were very satisfied with the service and quality of food at the restaurant.
