Great pizza and beer in an amazing haunted building. Had a few beers and they were all tasty. The northwest IPA in particular was my favorite last night. Pizza is delicious- had cheese and a meat combo. Someone at the table ordered a salad and it looked sooooo tasty. The garlic knots were garlicky and delicious. If you’re looking a good place to hang out and get pizza or beer - you can’t go wrong here. It’s a great spot, super nice staff, amazing beer, and crazy unique building space.

Great experience all the way around! The food, atmosphere, staff and location are all some of the best in Portland! We took the Shanghai Haunted Tunnel tour and then had dinner. Definitely recommend the tour, garlic knots & Shanghai IPA 👌

Not as creepy as I was hoping (comparing to the Seattle tunnel ghost tour) but interesting nonetheless. Not so much tunnels as it was basements of buildings. Beer at the brewery was very good. Pizza crust was burned, so not sure how to review that... Bar has a cool vibe.

Went for the Shanghai Tunnel tour and had a great time. Natasha was engaging and entertaining, offering lots of historical information. Appreciated the beer tasting at the end. Stayed for pizza, ordered a vegetarian and meat, both were great.

We booked a tour of the Shanghai tunnels shortly after moving to the area, to help understand the history better of our new city. Natasha was an awesome guide and had so much history to share about the city, the area, the tunnels, and just her love of researching weird and wonderful topics. (Make sure you ask her for book recommendations - or the best places in the city to have some spooky fun!) The beer was also delicious - I'm not normally a big drinker, but the Red Ale was delicious enough that we took a couple of tall boys home with us. We also ate a couple of slices of cheese pizza once the tour was over, and I have to say - as a New Englander who used to live in close proximity to both NYC and New Haven, this pizza was surprisingly delicious! The crust was crispy, the cheese was gooey, and the slice was bigger than I expected - not quite "jumbo-slice" sized, but still enough to hold me over for a few hours! Overall, I'd recommend the tour, the libations, and the food - it was a great way for some new Portland residents to enjoy a Friday evening!

The Underground Tunnel Tour is AWESOME! Thank you, Natasha for your enthusiastic and bad*ss presence! (Can I say that in a review??) Be aware that the underground tunnel tour is not for the "faint of heart": It is dark, musty, but full of neat history! I encourage you to go; the experience is worth the cost. In addition to the tour, the pizza here is delicious. And the bartenders are truly professionals! (Shout out to Anne and Bob aka Cat Daddy aka Notorious B.O.B.) I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good, chill time.

If the dark side of history interests you, this tour is a must while visiting Portland, OR! Natasha was a fun and knowledgeable guide. We learned a lot and enjoyed the beer tasting in the tunnels at the end, as well as our free drink above ground in the brewery.

Pizza was bomb! Great place to rest after taking the Shanghai Tunnel Tour with Natasha! First ones to try their cinnamon bread with eggnog icing!

I very carefully selected this place for dinner mostly based on reviews and pictures. Their pizza looked wonderful and made with care, and the history was a tale to tell. I absolutely adored the funky old decor, mismatched furniture, ambient lighting and sitting spaces. There is a small bar, as well as upstairs sitting for larger tables. We came at a good time to find some private space and enjoy our own company. The bread was delicious piping hot, and our pizza did not disappoint! Only too bad I filled up while still wanting to eat 😆 A easy straightforward menu to order from, would definitely come back here. The women's bathroom was a lot of fun too and I will say I got distracted perusing the collaged walls. Unfortunately I think I dived into the food too soon to take pics. Worth finding out for yourself!

I had a truly enjoyable experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging. He did a super job moving a large group along, story telling, Q&A's. You even get a pint or beverage at the end of the tour, included. Would definitely recommend. The pizza is delicious too!
