What a great place hidden in plain sight! Uncomplicated and delicious in every way. The cocktails are a cut above, balanced and enticing. It's difficult not to order everything on the menu, simply described but over delivered. Comfortable and friendly, a true local gem.

One of the better values for craft cocktails in town (and mocktails worth the $ and calories too!). I haven't interacted with a staff member who wasn't a super-friendly pro and I love the casual ambiance with killer food, drink, and service. Just feel-good neighborhood vibes and a knockout mignonette for the oysters. I'm a plantain fanatic and the maduros and patacon both live up to the craving. Good little happy hour too!

The gentleman that helped us was informative and friendly. The food was fantastic! And the pork belly was superb. I recommend the fried plantains, they were delicious! The salsa is the freshest! Prices were great! Will go back as soon as I can!

This place is amazing! The staff is always so nice and friendly. I grew up eating feijoada in Brazil, and this place has the most authentic feijoada I’ve ever had in Portland. I also love their vaca frita, the cubano sandwich, and the moqueca during the winter. The drinks are always on top too, and I recommend getting the patricinha.

An absolute gem of a place. When driving park on 13th (off Fremont), it’s right on the corner. You’ll see a few tables outside with red umbrellas. I sat outside and it was perfect amount of shade and warmth for the Portland summer. Everything I tried was delicious. Plantains were perfectly cooked and came with 2 different sides of dipping sauce. Refreshing and tasty. Cubano was a melt in your mouth delight. Quality ingredients and perfected cooking techniques make this a 10 in my book. Fantastic neighborhood place to grab a beer, a snack or a full meal at a reasonable price.

I’ve been here twice. Both times I wondered why I don’t come here more. Great food, never packed. Menu has options for anyone. Service is always prompt and very friendly. There is some outdoor seating for nice days. If you’re in the neighborhood I would definitely drop by! The burger is ridiculously good, the Cubano was also delicious. The salsas were clearly made in-house and super tasty. I even brought my parents from out-of-town who kept asking to come back here despite wanting to try some of the other spots Portland has to offer.

Found this restaurant on google and decided to come eat here for my mothers birthday. There seems to be only street parking but not too hard to find somewhere to park. The place is very cozy and inviting. One of the staff members greeted us and made a table for us because there was 7 of us. He answered all our questions and was very friendly. Once our appetizers came out they were gone in 5 seconds. It was so good!! We ordered salchipapas and tostones (patacones ) and it was delicious!! I myself had a bandeja paisa and the meat was delicious and seasoned well. It also came with an arepa that’s not pictured. I definitely recommend checking it out !! I will be back again (:

It is probably my fourth time here and it never disappoints! I had the cubano sandwich, vaca frita, yuka hash but my favorite is the Feijoada! The great large windows that always brings the sun in ☀️

Get your car keys in your walking shoes and go there now .... it will brighten your day and your belly! I got their Ceviche, chicken hearts, and a Daiquri. And my friend got their burger. It was happy hour. I don't normally like Daiquris.... this was delicious a yummmmy Daiquiri.

I've been to En Vida about 4 or 5 times now, and it has not disappointed. The selection of wines from South America is very good, and I have enjoyed all the different sandwiches I have tried, such as the Cubano. The atmosphere is cheerful, and the service is friendly and prompt. If you are in the mood for a slightly upscale, bistro-type dining experience, don't hesitate to try En Vida!
