Great place and friendly staff! I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a good time downtown any night of the week.
We had a great experience in December 20th 2017. Food was excellent! Waiter was fantastic! They were short staffed but We had a reservation. They brought us to our table right away. Half our party was late, we weren’t rushed to order and leave. It was a birthday celebration, the waiter brought out a birthday treat and even gave the birthday boy the 2/$20 growler deal with 2 new growlers!! Had an excellent night!
I went here a couple days ago with some friends that were from out of town and they thought the food and the atmosphere was great. I got the Bacon Chicken Mac n' Cheese and it was to die for. Absolutely loved it. We also got the pretzel sticks with the cheese sauce as an appetizer and I'm pretty sure I've never tasted pretzel sticks as amazing as that in my life. They're definitely my all-time favorite now. I highly recommend this place.
Great pub food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Love the special, gourmet "Brewer's Dinners!" We go to Rockbottom every time we are in Portland.
Service was excellent, the food and beer were very good and the whiskey pour was generous. Nice sitting outside except for the cigarette smoke

Rock Bottom is one of my favorite places to stop when downtown Portland. The food is really good and they have a great beer selection. You do need to be a little patient...the place is usually pretty busy. Our waitress forgot to even ask if we wanted dessert...kind of bummed me out. We were there for a special occasion and I would have liked dessert.
Rock Bottom is my new favorite restaurant in Portland. The food is delicious, the beer is delicious, and the customer service is excellent. On top of that they have a few different brewery tours that are definitely worth the money to check out. You get to sample some nice beers at a few local breweries and our tour guid was amazing!
My husband and I just left this place (4/13/18) and the most memorable thing about this place is the service. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very attentive. We came smack dab in the middle of a shift change and never felt neglected. We had the nachos wit chicken as an appetizer and it was HUGE!! We were pretty full before the food came. I chose the salmon and my husband had a burger. The salmon had a sauce on top of it that I didn’t like but the fish itself was good. My husband thought the burger was a bit bland. We would go back to this place just for the service alone and try different menu items.
It's a big restaurant, nicely designed and decorated, clean and well-maintained, friendly and professional customer service, I got salad, big portion, it was delicious, but my companions were little disappointed, because lack of flavor and juiciness of the meat. They have big bar and you can see Bier Brewery.
Fantastic nachos a must have ! Mac and cheese was very flavorful! Good service minus the servers need to smile more..they seem like they hate working there. nice atmosphere. I would come here again
I’m only giving it a 4 stars although the service was spectacular, it’s because the food wasn’t that great it was ok nothing really special about it. This restaurant is huge and nice!! Good for a big group of people.
Okay. I wasn't even going to come here, and we honestly LOVED this place best in Portland and out of all the breweries we went to. We ordered a flight, and there was a couple of beers where we were like "eh, I don't like this kind of beer" and you can totally switch it out for something you would rather have!
I got a bacon cheddar burger (5 stars) and my SO got a steak sandwich (I'd give it 3 stars, not bad). Our waitress was super nice and helpful, and the service was really fast. We finish up our appetizer and our main entrees cane out right after! By the way, they're special house sauce, I don't know what it is but dang I wish I could buy a bottle of it and put it on everything

My wife and I are visiting Portland from California. We're on our way back to our hotel when were walking past this establishment. Asked a small grp of patrons if the food was good. Yeah, it's pretty good.
We're were greeted by a nice young lady with a nice welcoming smile. She asked if we wanted happy hr or regular dinning. Took a window in the bar area.
Our server was Vanessa. Very efficient. Very concerned we were pleased with our stay.
Ordered the beer sampler. The menu had plenty to choose from. Prices were very reasonable.
I ordered the rib eye steak and my wife had the lettuce wedge. I asked that my steak be pink in the middle. She confirmed it would be. The wait time was about right. We were waiting for the NBA Finals to start.
While waiting for our food, I worked on my beer tasting. Five of my six samples were quite tasty. The hoppy poppy was just that but still drinkable.
Once our meals arrived, I cut into my steak. It was not pink at all. But it very tasty anyway. I called Vanessa over. Showed her my steak. Asked if I wanted another. Yes, please.
She did not react negatively at all. A new steak was made. Nice and pink in the middle and it was GREAT. I ate every bit of it except for a little bit of fat that was minimal.
My wife was also happy with her lettuce wedge. Ate every bit of it.
We had a great time. The beer was tasty. We were able to watch the Warriors kick the Cavs butts.
We would return and highly recommend this establishment.
This place is AMAZING! The staff were super helpful made great recommendations. The food was so good we wanted to go back for dinner. The in house brewery makes some amazing beers. Everything was mouthwatering.
The food was good and not ver expensive. The drinks were good too. Overall i loved the ambience, definitely a place you can hangout with your colleagues.
Great experience and amazing food! I think all three of us agree it's the best food we have eaten since being here!

Excellent food and attentive staff! Highly recommend this restaurant! I had the chicken fried chicken and my spouse had the Mac and cheese with chicken. The jalapeno bread sticks and cheese are amazing! Not spicy just tasty!
Great food and service, even though it was late. Cool place to eat as the restaurant is very nice.
Friendly service, delicious nachos for a starter to share, and group had various salads and burgers to share which were all enjoyed and well presented. Big portions, enjoy!
