Southland Whiskey is a good spot for BBQ. The pulled pork is very tasty. We had it on the smothered fries, which also came with delicious coleslaw, bbq sauce & pickles.
The roasted artichoke was odd but flavorful. You get two huge whole artichokes.

Food could be a bit warmer and potatoes and Mac n cheese could use more cheese sauce.
Service was fast and attentive. The atmosphere is also charming and cozy. Closing hours seem to be variable though so check ahead of time.
While being fairly new to the area and searching for a place to be a regular at, Southland was my first stop, and coincidentally, my last stop. From excellent food, personable and welcoming staff, to an atmosphere that I find unrivaled in the area, this place is my go to and has rapidly evolved into

We had the salmon board and cornbread appetizers, I had the fried chicken and my husband had smoked brisket and pulled pork with coleslaw and augratin potato sides.
Everything was perfectly prepared and so delicious, simply put it's mouthwatering!!

I cant review the drinks as I had carry out order. The staff was nice and accommodating and the spot seemed like it had potential to be a really nice place to eat.... until you get to the food.

Nice vibe, friendly staff. My friend and I both got the fried chicken, sooo good. Crispy skin and flavor throughout, we finished everything! Cornbread was sweet and great crust! Will be back to try more.
