Southland Whiskey Kitchen - Portland - Photo album

Southland Whiskey is a good spot for BBQ. The pulled pork is very tasty. We had it on the smothered fries, which also came with delicious coleslaw, bbq sauce & pickles. The roasted artichoke was odd but flavorful. You get two huge whole artichokes. For our main course we had the Nashville chicken te
Nice food and drinks! Food could be a bit warmer and potatoes and Mac n cheese could use more cheese sauce. Service was fast and attentive. The atmosphere is also charming and cozy. Closing hours seem to be variable though so check ahead of time.
While being fairly new to the area and searching for a place to be a regular at, Southland was my first stop, and coincidentally, my last stop. Nice vibe, friendly staff. My friend and I both got the fried chicken, sooo good. Crispy skin and flavor throughout, we finished everything! Cornbread was sweet and great crust! Will be back to try more.
