Genies Cafe - Portland - Photo album

Everything was amazing! First time here, and I will definitely be back. Wait times for 2 people on a sunday was not bad, we waited less than 10 mins. The service was great! I got the Spanish omelet with the genie's potatoes and biscuits. The buttery biscuits with blackberry jam was my favorite 😍
Genies has always been a great diner to stop in for great food. Today I got the Little Fan scramble, it was delicious. The service was excellent and friendly. Top shelf coffee too!
So good! Dang tasty, cooked to perfection. Solid hollandaise. The Bloody Mary was amazing - so many fantastic pickles and bacon, even though mine was virgin ($6.95). Definitely making this a repeat breakfast spot!
Good food and service. The menu is simple and straight to the point You can add on items.
Genie's is our go-to breakfast stop in Portland. The food is phenomenal, my favorite is the avocado toast with a side of Genie's potatoes. We love the food so much that we brought our out of state family there on their one day in Portland because it never disappoints!
The Bloody Marys really were fantastic. Those reviews were why I selected Genies. But I was not prepared for that vegetable hash. Hands down the best hash I've had in a while (which says a lot given hash outs one of my favorite things to order at a loved restaurant back home). We don't get to to Por
Had the biscuits with mushroom gravy, hash browns, over-medium eggs and an oat milk vanilla latte. Damn it was good. An indulgent meal for me. Our server was super mellow, friendly, and efficient. The space is bright and not loud despite being packed with people. The waiting room with tables and a b
The institute of brunch in Portland owes a lot to Genies. I've been coming here for 20 years and will for 20 more to come if they'll have me. Delicious everything, but get a bloody Mary, even if it's virgin, even if you ordered a cappuccino too.
Funky atmosphere. Rock music but at a volume where you can still have a conversation. Wait staff were friendly, prompt, and helpful. The food was a bit of a mixed bag. I had the avocado toast which was AMAZING! Very sophisticated flavor palate with fresh avocado slices, smoked tomatoes, a perfectly
Great Bloody Mary's and Mimosa'a. The food so delicious and beautifully plated. A bit of a wait on Sundays due to the pandemic and being short staffed right now. But it was clean, with friendly staff, and amazing food! Well worth the wait time.
