I loved the place, food was amazing and service too. What I didn't like that much is all the noise in there. I would recommend some music, Greek music could be the perfect touch but any music. Was hard to communicate with my date, raising our voices. Except for that, everything was just perfect 👌🏼

I went to this Elini’s to celebrate my partner’s birthday and I was so amazed. They are very cosy and intimate setting and it’s a full fine dining experience. The food is very flavourful and delicious, loved the lamb pasta as well as the mushroom appetizer special. The server was super sweet and helped us choose from the menu. It was a little empty for a Friday night so not sure why they aren’t filled up when they’re so good. Show them some love!! ♥️♥️
Wonderful place, highly recommend! We’ve eaten here a number of times and every dish we’ve had has been excellent, and the service is great too - got confused about an item (greek names) and didn’t get what we expected - the waiter did not hesitate to take it back and promise to deliver what we intended to order; our mistake but no problem, no hassle. White table cloths, well designed decor.

The food wasn't for me, so I didn't actually taste it. Although it was described as rich. I took that to mean excellent. The service was definitely excellent, and the young lady that helped me smelled like an angel! She told me what perfume it was, but I was too mesmerized to remember. It's absolutely worth a visit!
Eleni’s has fabulous Greek and Mediterranean food. Great quality, lots of traditional and healthy choices, and very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is casual, warm, lively, and friendly. Great service and wonderful gracious owner/chef. It’s in Northwest but slightly off the beaten path. A true neighborhood gem. Highly recommend.
This place is very welcoming, the staff is right there when you need them, but not in your face. They gave us some good recommendations, and the food was phenomenal.

Perfect dinner on a slow Sunday evening. Christina and Adam took care of us and treated my wifey like the queen she is. I had the Greek version of spaghetti Bolognese while wifey had a scrumptious lamb with orzo experience that was mouthwateringly superb. Recommended!
The food is excellent. I feel the price and portion is also very good. the ambiance is the only thing that I'm not a big fan of but it's just because of my own personal preference. I'm not a fan of that open concept type restaurants. In my opinion they have a tendency to get a little bit too loud and you're a little too crowded. again I wish to remain positive about this place I found it to be very good I will definitely go back again. Not a place I would suggest for a large group
My husband and I came to Portland for our honeymoon, and we stumbled upon this place on our 3rd day after eating rich and/ or greasy food for the first 3 days.
Ya'll, this food is both fresh and tasty. I had the spaghetti with mussels and clams, and the sauce had an amazing fresh herby flavor. And the seafood was fresh, too.
My husband had the rack of lamb, which also had an amazing fresh herb flavor. He even actually ate all the veggies that came with it.
My aperol spritz was light and refreshing as well, although it's the first time I've ever had one, so I don't have anything to compare it to.
The service was excellent and the atmosphere was romantic. It was Wednesday, so we got immediate service.
Overall, I would highly recommend.
Delicious Greek food elevated in a pleasant environment. The service was attentive but not intrusive and the atmosphere was energetic but not so loud that you can't hear. I'd certainly come back again.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Elena's Philoxenia while traveling through Portland. It was near our hotel and ended up being the perfect place. The food was authentic and delicious. Everything made to order and fresh and perfect flavors. Great job!
Authentic Greek cuisine! Lamb rack was cooked perfectly. Brazed lamb shank was succulent. Sea bass was excellent! Calamari and Filo pastry just right!
