AMAZING. Our waitress was delightful and super helpful. The beer/scotch pairings are perfectly paired and delicious (I got the Black Ghost which I HIGHLY recommend). The seasonal beers are phenomenal--ESPECIALLY the IRA and the Triple Double IPA. I had the chef's special which was BBQ pork and brisket with cornbread and coleslaw that day and it was PHENOMENAL. My girlfriend had the sausage plate which was also amazing. A thoroughly enjoyable experience all around. Highly recommend. :)

Delicious beer , high quality food, and a terrific staff. The cheese and meat plate is wonderful and the accoutrements with each cheese is perfectly matched. Total Rekolsch is light and an easy drinker. Pale ales are well balanced. I love it.

our server was quite attentive, once we got some attention. he brought us a little taster beer to try. the food was excellent and the prices were really reasonable. the kale salad was something I would definitely try again, although the burgers looked yummy.

We always enjoy the food and beer here! The staff is great too! We have brought many of our out of town guests here. We know we can count on a good experience every time we come. Patio is great all year around and dog friendly!

The BF says the oatmeal stout is great and he tried a Rye, too. I ordered the special which was a grilled cheese with ham and a cup of tomato soup. It was amazing! The service was excellent and efficient. BF had a burger which he said was very good. Worth a stop if you are in N Portland.

Always a pleasure to visit! Impressed at the excellent service in the pub even during a busy Brewfest day. That's been my experience for two big events there so far (Brewstillery Fest and Radler Fest). Thank you!!

Nice Place If You Avoid Their Cooking. I'm giving this three stars because I have the good (most stuff), the bad (a few things), and the ugly (tomato soup). I have been here four or five times and the low rating comes from the one time we ordered "cooked" food.

The good: nice outdoor seating, pleasant indoor pub, decent beers, good cheese and charcuterie plates, and within walking distance from where I live.

The bad: The hummus isn't made right. To do it correctly, it takes some time. You have to add the liquid slowly to the food processor. It's kind of like making risotto. The hamburgers were not very good. My daughter (who cooked for years at Ft.. George Brewery in Astoria) agreed. The burgers were overcooked and seemed like they were made from frozen meat, but it's hard to tell since they were so overcooked. The cheese wasn't melted on either of our burgers. The other person in our party got the "special" grilled cheese sandwich. In her case, the only thing that made it special was the fact that only half the sandwich had cheese on it and some of that wasn't even melted.

The ugly: Perhaps the worst tomato soup I have ever eaten. It was really not soup. It was a tomato paste. It was flavorless and so thick you could almost get the spoon to stand up. Yuck. I have made tomato soup (both professionally and at home) from fresh tomatoes and it's not that hard to do.

I will continue to visit Stormbreaker since it's close to my house and I like their beers and cheese/charcuterie boards. I have also found the service to be a little inattentive (empty beer glasses), but the servers have all been friendly and personable. I would have given this four or five stars if we wouldn't have made the mistake of ordering cooked food.

Only downside I experienced was having smoke drift into the bar when someone chose to light up at one of the outside tables ... wish it were smoke-free.

Yes! Great replacement for Amnesia. Same basic ambiance as Amnesia but with some important updates. There are actual servers which come to your table and a full pub menu. The beer is excellent and the burger I had was very good. Great experience, especially in the summer months.

Stout beer was excellent (it was all we tried). others liked the food. The ambiance is great, with many options for different parties: indoor comfortable with several TVs if sports desired. outdoor nice with a fully closed tent and very large TV, also a couple of nice bench seating areas, without TV, but with a long gas powered center heating bar...

They do a wide variety of beer styles well, you can do flights of five choices at a time. Good pub style food selection. They have a nice outdoor seating area with large picnic tables.

StromBreaker is a popular brewery in Portland. They have a really big outdoor area equipped with multiple heaters and fire puts to make it comfy. Inside, they have some tables and TVs as well. The staff here are very friendly and pretty quick with recommendations and service. The beer selection here is good, a decently good sized menu. They also have food, which was pretty good. Overall a solid spit on this busy strip to stop in at for a few before heading to the next one.

Lovely atmosphere, excellent service, and the meal really hit the spot. It's hard to stand out in a location with so many excellent places but StormBreaker has managed.

Decided to take a walk after a couple of snow/ice days and ended up at Stormbreaker. Solid beer lineup as well as heated outdoor seating (fireplaces) with a full bar if you need a little more than just beer. Always a good place to people watch.

Happy hours is great. Love the beers and really love the food. Update! 7/2/21. Had the Hazy IPA - excellent! Also, probably the best onion rings I have ever had. The outdoor patio is dog friendly. Great place for people watching.

Really warm and inviting brewery. I've been dying to try the local beers here in Portland. I had a beer flight here and it was exceptional! My favorite beer being their seasonal Baltic Porter. Dark and rich without a significant coffee flavour. The bar is really cozy and the pork street tacos are Fire! Definitely glad I checked this place out.

So many great things about this place. Their beer is super tasty, the Mississippi Red is delicious. Their beer artwork is amazing, the patio is spacious and includes a fire pit. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their product.

I have been a fan of this spot since way back in the days when it was Amnesia Brewing. When I recently saw a story about StormBreaker starting to do brunch, I was excited. They mentioned they would have a Bloody Mary flight and Bao. Sounded fun so have been wanting to go check it out. We finally did today and it blew me away. The food was excellent; I don't always think of StormBreaker as a culinary destination but the breakfast Bao was really excellent. However, the Bloody Mary flight absolutely stole the show. All 4 of the drinks were unique, outstanding cocktails in their own right. Just fabulous. I wish I could have stuck around and ordered another flight and another order of Bao :). Will have to come back soon!
