The quintessential downtown early day diner/cafe. Nothing here comes from a commercial food supplier from what I can tell. Everything seems to be made in house with extremely high-quality ingredients. staff is efficient and generally welcoming. A great place to linger or have a quick bite. Very glad to have it in the neighborhood!
My daughter go to PSU and that is one of her favorite place for breakfast n lunch. It's now my favorite place too. The food there was amazing good!! Love the small cozy place and everyone works there look so happy. Will go there everytime I go have lunch with my kudo!!
This place was the BEST! Awesome breakfast, the staff we rad and super attentive, such a great choice of food, best eggs and bacon
Some of the best service I've had in a long time; This is on a downtown corner that I frequent every week or two and have wished that I had time to sit down for lunch. On this occasion, I was hoping for a brunch/late lunch. My plans changed suddenly and I had to change my order to something completely different and make it a "take-out" order. I felt really bad about it and yet my server was soooo relaxed and flexible. She even offered to give me coffee to go.
The drip coffee was notably good. The fresh squeezed orange juice was yummy (of course) and served in the cutest little bottles with a straw. The tuna sandwich that I took with me was lovely and I hope I have a chance to try something else on the menu since it has things listed like "porridge". How often do you see that?
The space is relatively small and has a "diner" feel (which I like and is somewhat unusual in Portland). I used to visit when it was run for years by a very friendly gentleman and his VERY grumpy wife. The layout is basically the same, but of course it has been up-scaled, Portlandia style. In fact, they serve adult beverages! I hope to return and try another of the many yummy things on the menu (like Chilaquiles). It was a very enjoyable experience.
We loved their fresh squeezed juice and the option to add champagne for mimosas! Great eggs benedict, and the staff is top notch! An enthusiastic thumbs up!

Best breakfast sausage I ever had! Everything was unctuous and clearly made with a lot of love. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and the wait staff are great! Perfect place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. My hubby and I will definitely be back!
Great food, great service! Food was cooked as ordered and very accommodating to gluten free with many choices!
The whole crew was smiling and having fun, and their happiness was infectious. The food was great, as was the service. I rarely write reviews, but I had to put my experience in this great diner into the world! Truly a spot where you tell your friends about the thing in the place with the people.
Nice, cozy place for breakfast. Great food. Within walking distance of the Waterfront.
I'm from out of town. Found this on a list of "best breakfasts in Portland", and it did not disappoint!! Super delicious, extremely reasonable pricing. And the fantastic servers, including Ari, gave my friend and I great suggestions on other things to do in Portland. Gonna try to go back before my vacation is over!!
Just had brunch here and the food, service, and drinks were amazing! The staff was friendly and welcoming. Their cocktails were perfect for day drinking. Ask the bartender what's good and you won't be disappointed!
I love this place. Great food, awesome atmosphere, friendly staff.
What a spectacular, quirky little place. Food was excellent. Really. Service was great. Atmosphere is very relaxed and everyone in there is having fun together. My husband and I met an older gentleman there who looks like he's got a lot of great storiesand wisdom to share and we can't wait to go back for all of it.
We are in Portland this week, and our “go to” morning breakfast stop is the Daily Feast. We’ve been working our way through the menu and have has the pancakes, the veggie scramble, eggs Benedict, French toast, biscuits & gravy, the porridge, and also the avocado toast. Everything has been delicious. My favorite so far was the porridge. The coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice are great too!
Thank you so much !!
Great Breakfast spot. The food is fantastic and the wait is very reasonable. We had the biscuits and gravy with eggs, salmon scramble with hash brown and the burrito breakfast. The orange juice was so fresh and delicious, and the coffee was just right. I’ll definitely be back.
Nice diner with Gluten free options. We had the gluten free Monty and veggie scramble, both were great and in large portions. Also tried the pancakes (with gluten) which were delicious. Service was excellent. Highly recommended 😊
Wow. What a great place. Super friendly staff, delicious food, good prices. I had the chilaquiles. Sooooo good! Freshly made fried corn chips with a delicious spicy tomato sauce and lots of wonderful toppings. Not to be missed! My daughter had the full Monty that was yummy too. Wish I lived near by so I could go back!
This dinner gets a 10 out of 10 in my book! Ordered the Luca’s Sausage Supreme (half hollandaise, half sausage gravy) and it blew my mind with flavor. We also ordered pancakes and were able to add chocolate chips, bananas, and blueberries. One of the best pancakes of my life, incredibly delicious. Our drinks were great as well. Got sat right away and the staff was very friendly. We are only in town one more day and I know where I will be eating breakfast.
One of my gal pals and I had brunch for the first time at The Daily Feast today, and I was very happy with the food and service we received! I ordered their homemade biscuits and gravy with overeasy eggs, as well as a whiskey maple milkshake. The gravy had plenty of sausage in it and a lot of flavor. Biscuits were fluffy and held up well. The eggs were cooked perfectly. I was a bit concerned that the milkshake would be whiskey heavy, but it wasn't! Instead, it had a hefty caramel-like flavor and went down easy. Everything was delicious and the servers were friendly, helpful, and quick! We walked away with happy, full tummies and smiles on our faces.
From the moment I stepped in, the restaurant enveloped me with its warm ambiance and an almost magical feel. The decor struck a perfect balanced The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring every moment was special.

But the real star of the show was the breakfast menu. First, the pancakes: fluffy, light, and perfectly golden, each bite was a piece of heaven. Then, an innovative take on Eggs Benedict, served on a bed of crispy potato, a combination that pleasantly surprised me in both texture and flavor. And finally, the veggie omelet, a succulent and fresh option that satisfied not just my palate but also my preference for healthier choices.
Definitely gives the small diner from a movie vibe. Music was taking me back to middle school, I couldn't stop singing along. The Chorizo Burrito was A-Tier. Great taste and came out hot.
I stopped in at the Daily Feast for breakfast while staying Downtown. The food was good diner quality, and service was instantaneous. The space itself is a cool, half diner/half cafe in a historic building. I think the only fault I could find would be having to descend into the carpark to find a toilet, but this was just a minor inconvenience. I would definitely eat here again!
Nostalgic atmosphere, great team work efforts amongst employees, positive upbeat feel. Fresh, hot & delicious food. We were visiting from out of state, it was so good we returned the next morning. Again same consistent results. Great place & value for your money. Wish I lived here, so I could visit frequently 💙
