The food is fabulous. Only take out but quick and easy. If you go at lunch you may run into them kids from the local school.

Cute little space with good service and good food for the price. Serving sizes are just about right, and most dishes can be made vegan or vegetarian! Appears to have a very loyal lunch clientele, probably because service is fast. My boyfriend and I were in and out in 30 minutes. Perfect for a little lunch break.

My favorite neighborhood Thai food restaurant. They have a super good Brussel sprout dish. Also really good curries!

Great chicken pad thai. Simple quick mobile order, the wait wasn’t long at all. Thank you to everyone here for serving my lunches.

More and more I'm beginning to think when it comes to Portland, Oregon Thai food can do no wrong and I know that's not literally true. Because everyone can have an off day. But in these single meals, if they are anything to go by then, dining at this restaurant is an amazingly easy choice. If you're going here, you're going for Thai food and the food was delicious. The price was competitive and the Thai iced tea made me want more. If you're looking for a reason to not want to spend money at this restaurant, I can't give it to you. In all honesty, I'm sure it's like every other restaurant I've been to. It's not magic. It's a lot of hard work and dedication to craft and it's not magical in any way but at the end of the day for me an amazing Thai meal is magic because of the hard work they do here.

After living in Thailand for 1 year, this IS authentic!!! Amazing food & service, you won’t be disappointed. For starters I had Khao Kloog and I would recommend!

I am obsessed with this place! Everything I've tried has been fantastic and they have a lot of unique options I haven't seen at other Thai restaurants in Portland. I used to work nearby and now have to make the drive back every so often for the khao kloog, my favorite.

Such a wonderful gem doing takeout only right now. Love the Tom Yum soup, vegetarian special kabocha squash “pad Thai” a stir fry in the yummy sauce. Love their green curry too! Never been disappointed yet!

My new neighborhood go-to spot, I literally went here every day for a week after I found out about it because it’s 5 minutes away from my place and the food is FANTASTIC. I definitely recommend the Pad Kee Mao (my partner’s favorite) and the Gra Prow Grob (my favorite). I was getting really disappointed in Portland’s bland thai food, but this place restored my faith. The spice level is nice too, they don’t skimp!

Khao Kloong is a unique dish that I’ve never seen at another Thai restaurant that everyone needs to try. The bits of crispy rice give it a great texture and it has a pleasant snap of ginger. Absolutely fantastic.

My hubby cannot resist the cashew chicken here. I have tried a few items from the menu, and been happy with every single one.

This is a long-overdue review for a delightful place with tasty meals. We have never had a bad meal here, and my wife and I have visited A LOT over the years--great place to bring friends, too. Classic case of the menu being smaller--but everything on it is delicious. Everyone's friendly, the price is low (especially considering the quality), and you should always get the fresh spring rolls, too.

We ordered 25 separate meals for a holiday office party last night. The food arrived on time, piping hot, and every order was correct. They even threw in some extra appetizers and everyone LOVED it! 10 out of 10 would order again!!

Kinara Thai is one of our family's favorite Thai restaurants in Portland! Their Tom Yum is so flavorful and filling. Their Pad Thai is the best in the city. And every single one of their seasonal dishes knocks our socks off. One of the best things about Kinara is that it's a local family owned restaurant and the people who work there truly take pride in their work. They always are able to accommodate a wide range of spice tolerance, dietary restrictions, and non-experimental eaters. Our toddler has gotten more and more curious over the years and now happily will try choo-chee pla or larb. Things that aren't typically found in a toddler's diet. We are glad that they survived the Pandemic and appreciate the abundance of caution they took during the heights of COVID surges.

We love Thai food. It has been a staple for us, for years. We moved to Portland, OR (from Seattle) 2 years ago - and have been trying various restaurants since then to find our 'Thai Home'. Tonight, we hit the jackpot when we tried Kinara Thai. Not only did they accept our online order, 30 minutes before closing (we don't usually do that) - BUT, the food came hot, fresh & flavorful. Kinara's blend of seasoning in every dish kicked it over the edge to a 5-star rating in our book. Super generous servings (true enough) - but the flavor profile was in our top 5 of all-time (and we are 50+ years old). We can't wait to visit in person (based on the reviews about the ambiance). Next time we order, we'll report on specific dishes - but suffice it to say, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! The quality is incredible.

My favorite Thai restaurant. Their yellow curry is so good. The potatoes come with the skin but it's so thin that it is not an issue. Keep in mind that you need to order rice separately, especially if you are ordering to go. highly racommanded.
