My wife surprised me with a Cherry Pie from Lauretta Jean's last week. Fruit pies are the only dessert I enjoy and as a "good ol' country boy"...I am a bit of an expert on the matter. This pie was the best pie I have had in 15 years, no exaggeration. Perfect cherry filling (not syrup, real cherries), perfect crust to filling ratio and let me tell you about that crust! The crust was substantial (but light), think of it like a perfectly folded croissant baked perfectly into a pie crust. Heaven. I live a solid hour's drive from Lauretta Jean's and it is absolutely worth the drive. Thank you for your wonderful pie!

Fine gourmet baked goods. The Salted Honey and The Key Lime pies at LaurettaJean's are bursting with complex flavor elements. Be sure to ask the staff for a store punch card, which has the website and the telephone number, so that you can call to order whole pies, and more! Excellent key Lime Pie with a firm toasted Graham cracker crust you'll need a metal utensil for. A 96 on "The Pie Spectator." Espresso drinks.

We're living in the Bull Mountain area of Tigard and make the trek to this lovely part of the Clinton/Division neighborhood almost weekly just to see what LJ's is baking. Amazing place, wonderful selection, super-nice staff...what's not to love?

Lauretta Jean’s  3402 SE Division St., (503) 235-3119.  Daily 8am-10pm.  Stepping into this restaurant is like stepping into an old-time farm kitchen.  Pies and pastries galore are made in the back the old-fashioned way, by hand.  Don’t miss the spectacular sour cherry pie or the chocolate banana cream.  I still regret letting my husband talk me into sharing a piece of pie.  Another of my dining companions had the smarts to order an extra piece to go.

The strawberry rhubarb pie was simply amazing : minimal, buttery-fluffy crust enclosing an eruption of lightly sweetened, chunky rhubarb and strawberry mixture. Had this pie twice during a 1 week trip - what a delight!

A tiny gem!. Were it not for site's like Urbanspoon, I might not ever have known about LJ's, it's that small and unassuming. Just a stoop with a couple of red chairs and a sandwich board on the sidewalk, but once you open the shabby-chic door, you're presented with a glass case full of wonder and delight. These folks know how to bake! Everything sparkles, from sweets to savories, and your only problem will be in making a choice - I wanted it ALL! Companion and I settled for a slice of quiche and salad, with a biscuit to split. Both savory pies were excellent - leek for me and bacon for her. And the biscuit was exceptional: just the right crunch on the outside, but soft and flavorful in the crumb.
GO, try for yourself!

Cute pie shop. Cute little pie shop in Richmond. Grabbed a slice of peach whisky and cherry to go. Pretty awesome pie, would have been better if I could have warmed it up and had it with ice cream. Can't wait to try some of the cream pies hiding in the back! Go for pie happy hour, what a deal!

Good pie. Good coffee. Good everything. And, in a great neighborhood with tons of eateries! A must-try if your'e in the area! Open late most weekdays. Serve breakfast on weekends. The raspberry/blueberry streusel pie is to-die-for! I've also tried the 'sweet-cream' pie w/ market berries, not my favorite, would rate it mediocre. Even so, many options available, which means you should be able to find a piece of pie you can eat w/ no regret! Have yet to try any of the other pastries or biscuits available daily. Can I add that it's super cute too? Does this even matter? Maybe. Or maybe not. But, really.

The Egg Benedict is served with a biscuit, so I knew I needed to try it and our server said it was a good choice between the two. I honestly think this is the first time I have had one with a biscuit. It was actually a good combo, especially since the biscuit was really good. The hollandaise was good too, very subtle, so not a lot of lemon going on and the smoked ham was perfect.

Worth the visit!!! I'm not a fan of pies however, Lauretta Jean won my heart. Sooo good and tasty. If you can not decide on a pie, the staff have wonderful suggestions. The place is a little small for the amount of business they receive and the line can get long.

Quality AND quantity – such a vast selection of sweet and savory pies & pastries, something for everyone. We shared the mixed berry & chocolate banana pie. Both were not too sweet and had flaky crusts. I also got a chocolate chip cookie to-go and it was a perfect crisp & chewy consistency with a slight saltiness. The lattes were good too! Can’t wait to come back :)

I know that this Pie shop doesn’t need another 5 star review so I’m on here to mostly brag about my boyfriend that ordered me this beautiful bourbon pecan pie for my Birthday. We had visited the shop on my Birthday to hopefully walk in and grab a few slices but the line was a bit longer then we were willing to wait. We gave up and decided to come back another day. Well to my surprise two weekends later I come home to this absolute masterpiece sitting on my counter! It’s as beautiful as it is delicious. The bourbon flavor gives the filling a little zing while the crust and crunchy/chewy layer of pecans perfectly in case the gooey filling. I mean It was an absolute joy to cut into. I woke up at 4AM just to have another slice. This pie is truly something to dream about. Thank you Keegan for bringing so much pie and love to my life.

We’d been on the lookout to try marionberry pie during our trip to Oregon and Lauretta Jean was the perfect place to satisfy that itch. The pie was stacked high with the luscious berries without being cloyingly sweet as so many fruit pies are. The peach and marionberry was equally delightful, topped by a nice crumble and oozing just the e right amount of fruit juices.

Pies as far as the eye can see! If you're a fan of pies or even if you just appreciate good food, then a visit to Lauretta Jeans pie shop is an absolute must. From the moment you walk in, you'll be greeted by the warm aroma of freshly baked pies and super friendly staff that's always ready to help. The first thing that catches your eye when you enter is the sheer variety of pies available. Whether you're in the mood for a classic banana creme or a more adventurous flavor like Honey Peanut Chocolate, you'll find it here. And the best thing is that each pie is made with the freshest, highest quality ingredients, ensuring that every bite is bursting with flavor. One thing that really stood out to me about Lauretta Jeans was the attention to detail that goes into each pie. The crusts are perfectly flaky and gorgeous! and the fillings are for the most part the ideal balance of sweet and tart. I just wish the banana creme has more actual bananas! There was only three slices of banana in our slice. But the coconut lime was loaded with coconut and an epic Graham cracker crust! So It's clear that the bakers at Lauretta Jeans take pride in their work and are committed to producing the best pies possible. Another thing that I appreciated about Lauretta Jeans was the cute cozy, welcoming old school atmosphere. The shop is decorated with charming vintage touches and there's plenty of seating available inside and out, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy your pie. And if you're in a rush, you can always order your pie to go and savor it later. Overall, I can't recommend Lauretta Jeans enough. The pies are truly exceptional and the experience is one that you won't soon forget. If you're ever in Portland, be sure to stop by and treat yourself to some of the best pies around

I’ve been an infrequent customer here for the last six years. Normally I procure a whole pie, but this time my visiting guests wanted to try a variety. I was able to look past the “meh” attitude from the cashier when I ordered, it’s Portland after all. What I wish I hadn’t looked past was the way they crammed all six slices (a lovely total of $35) into a box that could not accommodate the size. They literally crushed my fruit slice beneath another slice. It would have been neat if they had arranged them so I could have at least gotten them home in one piece.

Cute spot to chitchat with friends until you stuff your face and shut your pie-hole!! I’d suggest to get the quiche/savory foods rather than the sweets as they’re a bit overly sweet. We got the tomato & goat cheese quiche and it was delicious along with cherry lemonade and raspberry & blackberry strudel, which was reminiscent of canned sugared fruit with thrown in dried crust😭maybe cause we were there later in the day and it’s gotten dry??

This place is incredible! Showed up at 8 and there was literally a line out the door so you know it’s good. Line moved quickly though. Order a slice each of the key lime and chocolate cream, couldn’t pick a favorite they were both so good! Probably the best chocolate pie I have had. I can’t wait to return!

Deeeelicious pies! The staff was funny and friendly, and the service was quick. We had a slice of the salted honey and the apple danish. Both were excellent! A customer ahead of me ordered a whole pie, and I thought it was cool that you could take home the glass dish it came in with a deposit and just take it back whenever.
