Bye and Bye offers both healthy and comfort vegan fare. The craft cocktails are delicious. they ha e a nice selection of craft beers. Outside, they have a spacious patio partially enclosed where they allow dogs. Inside, there is a nicely designed dining room that allows minors. So bring all your friends. Service is swift and friendly.

I had lunch with my friend here while visiting Portland. Their food was absolutely delicious (I had the broccoli brown rice bowl with nutritional yeast breaded tofu), filling and the whole experience was made even better with the nice atmosphere, outdoor seating and friendly staff. Very affordable place to eat, check them out vegan friends! :)

This is hands down one of my favorite spots in Portland! I love the space and the food never disappoints. The weeping tiger is my favorite menu item, it never gets old. My partner always orders the Italian sandwich. You also cannot go wrong with the pretzel knots! The service is awesome and the bartenders always have an upbeat positive attitude. They have great outdoor spaces both in the front and the back so they are able to accommodate fairly large groups. It is worth the drive from North Tabor đđŒ

This is SUCH good food!
Literally everything is delicious from the drinks to desserts. Casual service, with ordering at the counter of the bar. Large outdoor area too which I imagine is lovely in the summer.
I got the pretzel knots, buffalo soy curl wrap, mac n cheese, and my partner got chili pie. We also got a vegan cheese and cheesecake for dessert and ate the leftovers for days after.
The house chips are deliciously seasoned. I think about the buffalo soy curl wrap at least a few times a week that is how much I like it and compare it to other vegan buffalo options. The chili pie was a surprise favorite. Honestly you could order anything on this menu and it would be worth it.
Can't wait to come back to try more and enjoy the outdoor seating.
Oh and did I mention they are open until 12 or 2:30 am? finally some late night vegan food at something that is more of a restaurant than just a bar with appetizers.

Visited on a rainy Tuesday and sat outside, they were nice and lit a heater for our group. Ordered hot drinks and food. Enjoyed both thoroughly! The pretzel knots had yummy mustard and âcheeseâ dipping sauces. The âmeatballâ sub was saucy and delicious, and the peanut broccoli bowl was tasty and filling! The drinks were warm and very enjoyable. Would come back

Awesome vegan spot with tons of seating (including outdoor patio), lots of bike rack spots, friendly staff, and very tasty vegan food. I tried the peanut tofu/broccoli bowl, the pretzel bites, and the mac & cheese.

We come here every time we're in Portland, it's a vegan institution and frankly a staple in my humble opinion. Let me just say The Weeping Tiger is one of my all time favorite sandwiches, I adore that broccoli peanut rice bowl, too. I did find a male bartender in the evening to be a bit rude this visit. The lady bartender & the barback who served our lunch on Friday were lovely though, not an empty table at that time yet they got the food & drinks out quickly and poured a water for my kid on the fly.

Had the peanut tofu Broccoli bowl and it was FANTASTIC. Finally a place that is neither stingey on Brocolli nor sauce!!! Hubby had the weeping tiger Sando and liked it, but he liked mine better ;-). I also had their special pumpkin Tumeric hot toddy which was AWESOME. Highly recommend this huge, friendly place. Lots of covered outdoor space as well as indoor tables far apart. Very comfortable vibe and love, love the artwork. Definitely a full 5 star place..

This place is amazing. A great, fun bar that happens to be completely vegan. The margaritas were on point and we are the pretzel rolls (yum), buffalo soy curl wrap (slay), and chipotle mac n cheese (spicy but fire. Canât wait to come back and bring more friends.

Southern vegan food, sounds crazy, but black eyed peas, vegan meet ball subs, barbecued tofu, greens, full bar and 2 patios, can't beat a better place to chill, have a beer and eat with good friends.
Not kid friendly, no kid menu, but this place knows how to cook the tofu, and they add it to everything. The barbecue Brussel bowl is a favorite. The meat ball sub is one of my favorite items on the menu. The greens have a kick and are usually perfectly cooked, and the spaghetti is enough for 2 meals. This place has comfort food that would not be expected. They serve a killer vegan breakfast, which must be new to me.
Their drink menu is large and colorful, Bloody Mary's, and mocktails.
mimosa, michelada, and plenty of beers on tap. Do not make a line to order, read the sign

Great hang out spot with friends or family! Had to show our photo Id at entrance. Great ambiance and they have a large outdoor seating. The random rules drink was amazing. We will definitely go back again this summer. Highly recommended this place if your celebrating something.

This is the most impressive selection of vegan food that I've ever seen at a restaurant. I've had both their spaghetti and their macaroni and cheese. While it's hard to find a good substitute for pasta dishes on a vegan diet, the Bye and Bye offers meals that taste different from regular non-vegan meals, but delicious nevertheless. The mac and cheese has a spicy yet creamy flavour to it, and the bread crumbs on top really offer a new level of savory and crunchy. Service is always nice too.

I always have at least one meal here when I'm in Portland. And when I lived in Portland I frequented this restaurant often. But this last visit, the food by far was the best ever! And great service with a smile.

Biting into this tempeh sandwich brings on a subtle merging of sweet, salty, and fatty notes. The bread was fresh with nice crust. The best tempeh sandwich Iâve had so far in life

Had the BBQ tofu bowl that was really delicious with brussel sprouts and rice. They have aardvark which I appreciated. I had a couple cocktails the emotional margarita and the hot mess, which were good but I seem to remember them being larger a few years ago. I'm guessing inflation and covid has affected the size. Otherwise great experience. They have plenty indoor and outdoor seating and all vegan and vegetarian options.

I'm not vegan but loved the food here. Also bravo to the bartenders handling a pretty big rush when I was there for dinner on a Friday night. They worked quickly but were friendly and attentive. Also thank you for not forcing everyone to stand in a single line for drinks. (Check the sign!)

Vegan restaurant and bar. Food was good. Serving sizes were good. Not much for at table service. You have to do all ordering at the bar. Decent selection of craft beers.

To start off, I'm not vegan or even vegetarian. Some friends were in town and wanted to try it. I wasn't really into it and a little leary but went for them. I was happily surprised at how delicious their food was! With a pint of stout it was a perfect meal! I will definitely be going back! Thanks for turning me onto this!

Probably our favorite place in town. Fantastic vegan food, super friendly and welcoming bartenders, good music and just a really good hang, inside or outside. Anytime anyone from out of town visits, this is our go-to as well.

We have come Australia all the way up the west coast and eaten at many Vegan Restaurants and this would have to be one of the best.

This place is awesome. It was my first time and now I have a new place to eat great vegan food and drinks.....

I highly recommend the nutritional yeast tofu, beans, rice, collard greens, and there chipotle sauce. Also they make me good dirty Shirley's. This is really the best bar in NoPo in my opinion when it comes to cruelty free options. Thank you Bye and Bye bartenders and cooks! You're wonderful!

I've never felt as welcome at a bar as I have here. The staff is really friendly, and their entirely vegan food is delicious. The meatball sub is my favorite, the meatball spaghetti a close second, and their sandwiches are all delicious too.
