Duck House Chinese Restaurant - Portland - Photo album

Full house on a Friday night - for good reason! The soup dumplings alone are worth the twenty-thirty minute wait. I recommend ordering family-style and sharing various dishes with your group. As mentioned previously, I’d go just to eat soup dumplings but we also enjoyed the wings and walnut shrimp!
One of the my favorite XLB spots in the Portland area. The pricing is solid and the portions were solid. The staff were a bit short but still very helpful with recommendations. The food itself is well worth the stop in, so I highly recommend this spot and would even go again.
(3.7/5) I had the pleasure trying something new! Northern china dishes 🔥 so.. the rice was a little bland. However the GREEN BEANS! Very good! The dumplings weren’t as spicy as told and the chicken in the chow mein could’ve been chopped better! I also don’t like the timing they serve the food . I’d
Bright and welcoming atmosphere, immediately upon being seated we were served a pot of tea which was absolutely delightful, and the shrimp and pork soup dumplings made a spectacular appetizer. When ordering the fried rice, we were asked how spicy we would like it and my friend did not want her spicy
I very much enjoyed this place!! The food portions were big and they were delicious!! They even have a bar and some drinks you can get. If you love szechuan and mala cooking, you should definitely come here!!!
It was a hot Sunday afternoon. We had just left the Rose Test Garden, and after meandering among the flowers for hours upon hours, we were in need of some quality sustenance. Duck House absolutely blew us away! The Szechuan Fried fish is the *best* item on the menu, crispy, spicy batter with moist a
Great food! Many items on the menu is delicious and they do have quite a large menu. Conveniently located close to Portland State University, this restaurant also has a bar geared for sports watching. Good for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner.
We had a wonderful time here at Duck House! We ordered the chili wontons and they were absolutely incredible! We split the pork fried rice and Shrimp dry pot. Holy cow. Every bite of the shrimp dry pot was ecstasy, a fantastic balance of flavors. I wish we could have kept eating it forever. The chil
This place is fantastic. The house special Pork Ribs and eggplant with pork were our favorite dishes. Salt and pepper shrimp was also very good, not too peppery though. I'd recommend getting on the wait-list if you come around dinner time. Staff was friendly and we will definitely come back soon. ✌🏾
I don't normally give straight 5 stars across the board. Everything here was superb when I went. I took my brother from out of town and I have been looking for good Chinese food in this city... I just found it. The Pork Xiao Long Bao was our starter and it did not disappoint. The soup was hot and
Had a lovely meal with the hubby at Duck House Chinese Restaurant yesterday! The crispness of the honey walnut prawns was excellent and the flavor of the sauce was on point, if a bit light. The broccoli was a little underdone, but still good. My husband ordered the stir-fried lamb with cilantro and
This was my 1st visit with few of my friends and a small dog. We loved the food especially the dried pot. Both vegetarian and chicken items were tasty. The pork soup dumplings (xiao long bao) are must try. We ordered way too much so couldn’t try the desserts. I will definitely go again and try some
Delicious, that is all I have to say. I will be coming back here again. Today, my eyes were hungrier than my stomach! I recommend all the dishes that were ordered today and they were not as spicy just like how I like it! By the way, we got here as soon as they opened, and it got pretty busy shortly
Good but not great. The atmosphere is nice, it’s a busy place with good acoustics. A traditional bar aesthetic, dark woods and some high tops. some would say p.f. chang’s ish. We had Cumjn Lamb, Onion Pancakes and Cashew Chicken. Dishes were colourful and good in flavor but not great. Portion sizes
I came to this place as a recommendation for authentic dumplings and this place did not disappoint! Came during their lunch and the restaurant was not busy, so we got to enjoy this place in a nice, calm environment. Both of the soup dumplings were juicy and packed with flavor. The General Tso's chic
Hands down one of the best Chinese spots in PDX. We love this place and make it a point to recommend to anyone visiting PDX. Jason is our favorite server!! He makes amazing recommendations and knows the best things on the menu. The food is delicious. Pork Steam Buns and the Chili Oil Wontons are a M
