Backwoods Brewing Company - Portland - Photo album

I am hard to impress. But everything about this place was fantastic! Seated immediately... Friendly and professional service... Delicious beer... Scrumptious food... Lively atmosphere... Affordable bill. My wife and I left there so friggin happy with the entire experience! GREAT JOB GUYS 🙌
Highly recommend the salmon nachos but tell them to hold the pickled jalapenos. This came out fast so ingredients were likely prepared ahead of time but still tasted amazing (especially the smoked salmon). Portion was large enough for 2 adults. There was live music during the Friday evening. It di
We were so excited to go try Backwoods after having their great barrel aged stout yesterday at Pine Street. Well, it was not in tap here. Not to worry, we still had some great beer. We started with a flight. I liked the S'more Golden Stout best and my husband liked the Ridge Run Stout so much he go
Great place. It was super nice outside and we were able to grab table outside right away. Really interesting beers that surprised me. The Totchos were outstanding!
Great beer selection. Had to get a flight to sample as many as possible. Shared the salmon nachos. Very generous portion and very tasty
Swung by Backwoods after getting drenched by rain and snow on the walk over. It was definitely easy to warm up with the large, inviting space inside. Didn't try any of the food, but the menu was fairly standard american bar food. Beers were overall solid, but nothing stood out to me personally.
Super fun brewery with great food. The garlic parm tots were GIGANTIC and super tasty. Loved the big portions. My hubby also really enjoyed his beer flight.
Great brewery with awesome Cider and IPA on tap. We ordered the Bbq pulled pork nachos and the happy hour Caesar salad… delicious!
Went to a neighbouring restaurant that wasn’t able to seat us quickly because they were understaffed, so pivoted and went to Backwoods instead. The menu is simple and lots of fried foods. The spicy mango daiquiri was very good! Had the Twisted Caesar salad and it was tasty. The walnuts and cranberri
Food was really good, especially the garlic tots and the pretzel. Beer flight was so so- pecan pie porter was the highlight. My wife had an excellent Angel's Envy Old fashioned.
Fun place with a great Portland vibe! We went for Mother's Day and the server was AWESOME and on top of it. The reason there isn't 5 stars is I did get cut with a martini glass with a huge chip and none of our appetizers made it to us. We didn't get any comp for the mis-haps, which was unusual when
Great beer selection and a fantastic staff!!! Absolutely loved the tater tots, as well!!! Visited multiple times during our visit to Portland and the experience was consistently awesome!
Great beer, service, atmosphere. Wish there was something besides an impossible burger for vegans to have for a meal, but the sweet potato fries were good. Overall I'd come back for a beer but dine elsewhere.
Ordered delivery to our hotel at almost 9 pm when our original order at a different restaurant said it was delivered, but it really wasn't. Appreciate that they were able to accept our order so late. First off, I want to say that I almost never order salads because 1. If I'm traveling, I would want
Had the fish of the day. Delicious. Made a mistake on the order but it was corrected immediately and with elegance. The Pilsner is tasty. Can’t go wrong!
Over all I had a great experience. The service was great and attentive. My burger was good but it was quite messy and would fall apart. Sweet potato fries were great as well, who doesn’t love sweet potato fries. I ordered a lemonade gin type drink and it was strong, it was more like gin with a hint
Super yummy food. Nice selection of brews and full bar! The service was wonderful! Our server went above and really did an amazing. I appreciated her diligence with making sure I didn't eat anything I was allergic to!
Nice set up. Plenty of seating. Quick service. Clean. Great staff. Good beers.
Great beer and outstanding fried pickles! Since so many good restaurants in Portland have closed, this is one of the best remaining pubs that actually tries to make the food good, rather than just mediocre food. Have I mentioned the Beer is great đź‘Ť Cheers!
