This was the best Asian vegan cuisine I've ever had. I ate here twice in 2 days because the food was so good. The gentleman that runs the restaurant is incredibly helpful and friendly. I never ran out of water while seated. The restaurant vibe itself is really homey and comforting. Definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.
The same great menu, with a new name, now Walk the Wok, but same recipes and flavors. All the favorite Loving Hut dishes are still available!
Stay healthy, stay vegan. Don’t get me wring, I am a non-vegetarian, but after eating here I felt being vegan isn’t that tough either.

Some of the BEST vegan food I have ever had. The owner is so friendly, fast, and passionate. We came in 5 minutes after they opened, and we were brought soup and drinks immediately. Service was sooo fast but it was fresh!
The place is so oriented around compassion and love. Lots of vegan propaganda and information.
I would go here everyday for lunch if I lived close by. Could not ask for a better meal ! ❤️
A great find! I ordered the Spicy Cha Cha, the serving was large enough to share with another person. They also served a complimentary soup. I tried the Silky Flan for dessert and it was delicious.
Such great food! It's always consistently wonderful! The service is kind, the water is orangey, and you get a cup of soup whenever you order. I'm in love with the Mapo tofu and now the new general tso!
Vegan and Vegetarians rejoice! This place is awesome. I'm staying in Portland for the week and The Loving Hut is a vegan spot I'm definitely coming back to. The owner Mr. Ping is an incredibly nice guy who gave my wife and I spectacular service. If you're unsure what to order, I highly recommend the Vegetable Udon Noodles.
One of the best vegan chinese places I've ever been. Inomoni (Los Angeles), Lucky Creation (SF), Yuan Su (also in Portland). I love it. I can't believe I had never been here before. Tasty, healthy, a fine mix of good-for-you and junk-food-chinese. I want to go here every freaking week.
I didn't know vegetarians can live so well without meat, until I ate in this restaurant someday. I highly recommend MaPo tofu if you go there first time, it is a traditional Chinese food, same taste with China. A little bit specy, but you will love it. others are delicious too.
I did a take out while visiting Portland and every dish is so delicious. 100% plant based. Highly recommend it. Yum😋
Delicious vegan food but terrible packaging.
The food has yet to fail me, but the boxes the food comes in fails nearly every time. I can't begin to count the number of times I would arrive at home to find my Mapo Tofu having leaked all over the bag. I recommend bringing some basic Tupperware if you are planning on getting anything saucy like that.
I love this place I’ve been coming here since I was in middle school it’s still one of my favorite restaurants I mainly order through DoorDash now but I loved dining inside its simple but cozy the gentleman that works there is extremely kind he always gave us free rice cause we would eat so much of it with our food & we always left a big tip cause you just can’t get better customer service anywhere else! I’ll definitely be ordering from here for many many years to come.
OH MY GOODNESS!! This restaurant is AMAZING!!! We have tried over the half the menu now and every single thing has been delicious! We also appreciate them giving unique names to the dishes instead of trying to keep the old meat based names of many of the items. Absolutely 10/10 restaurant that you must try!

Food is scrumptious! Ocean Catch sandwich is amazing! Fries delicious. Cheesecake is the best! Don't leave without dessert! There is still no dining inside. You can order ahead and pick up, or walk in and order and wait. They took about 15 minutes to prepare food for 5 meals. About 20 to bag up and pay. Really great place! Every time we go to Portland Art Museum (Loving Hut is only a few blocks away), we purchase lunch there, then take it back and eat in front of the museum in the park area. Altogether, a perfect day!🙂😊
The waiter offered some soup and it was delicious! I got the Hawaiian katsu and it was great! 10/10 or 7/7 with rice.
The food, the atmosphere, and service is excellent! This is a great place for a casual dinner or a date night.

I'm not a vegan and still love this place. The curry is amazing and contrary to what some have said, Yes, rice does come with entrees. And extra side of rice only $1. Portions are really good sized for the price.
