As a former Arizonan I'm always searching for a good Mexican food spot up here in Portland-and this one was a good choice! Friendly staff, fair prices, delicious margaritas, and, most importantly, good food! If you are debating whether or not to stop by this unassuming strip mall restaurant, do it!
Was looking for a local Mexican restaurant as a solid go to. Since I recently moved to sw part of Portland. Glad I finally noticed Raul’s in the Freddie’s parking lot. Stopped by the other day with my cousin and the food was made quickly tasted perf and was attentively waited on. Even being offered

We got there and we were thrown back. No Cantina. When we got settled and reviewed the menu we were very pleased.

My fiancé and I always try to go to a new authentic Mexican spot on our Cinyo De Mayo anniversary, this restaurant was a fantastic find! The whole aesthetic was perfect! Our waiter was very attentive. The food was bold and flavorful as well as my drink!
Food was good overall, some spicy in the complimentary bean dip was nice. Would come back again for the food prices and portion sizes! We were able to split one meal and walked away paying only $23 with over 20% tip for 2 people.
Beautiful place, awesome service, loving the names they gave us. Comfortable place to go to eat at with your family members. We love you Raul!
Go here often. Service is usually pretty good but I feel ignored sometimes. Food is good and reliable.

The tacos were fantastic! The rice and beans are also good. My least favorite part was the guacamole, it wasn't bad I've just had much better.
Raul’s is great and always has been pretty top notch! Their Original Margarita in the shaker is one of the best in Portland! Recently we got a marg sampler at happy hour and all four basically tasted the same which is a first and they recently started charging $7 for a second basket of chips and sal
First time going to this place and omg everything was so delicious from the chips with the frijoles (beans) and Salsa to the food yum 😋 If you are ever in the area you must stop by and try this place out.
This place was phenomenal! We came from Salem. The waiter was soo nice! The food was beyond delicious! This was a great mother's day dinner find.
I never do reviews but I had to for this! Raul’s in Rahleigh Hills is the best Mexican food! It’s so fresh > the Tortilla soup is the best I’ve ever had👍
Strongly recommend the molecajete, their tres enchiladas Mexicanas were also good. The meats are not overly flavored, the salsa is very peppery but very nice.
I got the fajita quesadilla and it was wonderful. The beans were flavorful and I couldn't get enough of them. The staff were nice and checked up on us frequently, even though we were put in a corner.
Overall this food was great and I look forward to going there again and exploring more of their men
Surprisingly good restaurant. Don't get offfended by the cheesy decor, food was well seasoned, generously served by the nice waiters. Menu is huge and service was quick.
Best Mexican food in Portland. Highly recommend Raul's Macho Burrito (I prefer the asada or chicken), which is delicious and huge. Gluten free options, including chile relleno. Very friendly wait staff. Outdoor seating available.
