The Hazel Room - Portland - Photo album

The restaurant is a true Portland experience (As in a house turned restaurant) there is porch seating and plenty of space inside as well. The woman who cooked our food actually delivered it to us and was funny and really nice to speak too. There were 5 of us and we could hear each other no problem
This place was an excellent brunch spot and very much worth the wait. We had very friendly and knowledgeable servers, great food, and a warm friendly atmosphere. There’s definitely a good reason this place is busy. Parking is downtown street parking, so do be prepared to drive around a bit to find a
Cute brunch spot, large dishes and vegan options, in an old house with a lot of character. Good coffee and good food. Popular and on-street parking only. My vegan scramble was satisfying.
We had a wonderful brunch at the Hazel Room. We had a party of four, so it was about a 30-minute wait. The drinks were creative. The food was delicious. Best of all, the service was fantastic. Super friendly and attentive. There was no pressure to turn over the table. A quaint and relaxing environm
First day in Portland and we stopped here. Everything was delicious, our vegan friend said out of our 16 days on the road up to this point, she was so happy they had a vegan burrito where she could have cheese and other things not offered by most places. She ended up coming back the very next day be
Since my friend and I were driving down to Portland from Seattle, we wanted try the famed Hazel Room. We couldn’t get on the waitlist, which they close around 12 and you need to be there in person to add yourself to it. We were okay with a seat at the counter - so, that worked out! When my vegan bi
such a lovely, satisfying experience on this mid friday afternoon. easy lighting on the eyes, cozy atmosphere makes it feel like you’re at a distant family members home, especially with the warm hospitality of the staff. noticed many dietary restricted options which i always find very pleasant for a
Delicious! Fun vibe and great food. The cheddar biscuits and Marion berry jam are over the top yummy! Great coffee and service too.
I've been wanting to try out The Hazel Room for a while now, so I went yesterday, and it did not disappoint. I had the Bee Gee Breakfast GF and it was deeelish. The gluten free gravy is so tasty. I also treated myself to an a la carte GF French Toast, with coconut and hazelnuts. Very delicious. The
Perfect spot for Sunday brunch. My GF was craving French toast. But she is vegan. Found this spot and it was a HIT! Vegan French toast was 8/10. No specified reason as to why.. but presentation 10/10. The eggs Benedict is well worth it! The potatoes were crisp just right and tasted outstanding. Baco
Very cute little spot and delicious brunch!! The place is very charming inside. Note that the wait is a little long on weekends (like most brunch places in Portland) and they don't take reservations, so just expect to wait a little bit. I had the bread pudding brioche french toast and it was one of
Looking for a brunch spot? You got it! A super cute former house. Good service and good food. Come here with friends, leave happier and slightly heavier. Then go for a walk to aid digestion. Hell ya.
B e s t. E g g s. B e n e d i c t. I n. P o r t l a n d. What more must I say? The entire ensemble was exquisite. The eggs were poached to runny yolk perfection. The hollandaise sauce was so delightful I could’ve drank it. The potatoes were crispy by default which was appreciated. The Frenc
Would you go out of your way for a $19 breakfast sandwich? Well once you try theirs you will!!! Unique pairings like goat cheese and berries will have you salivating long after you're finished. Highly recommend!!!
small and cozy but expensive. the matcha latte was not too sweet which is perfect for me and the mocha was quite tasty as well. paid $11 for the poutine only for it to be cold. the french toast was super soggy and the bacon was burnt. the eggs were also spongy but still tasted decent not worth the $
Although the food was excellent, the service was friendly but very, very slow. The food was lukewarm and the water was warm - no ice. But the food really did taste wonderful. Oh, the grapefruit mimosa was great and the bloody Mary was yummy but extremely spicy, if you like some heat!
