Blue Star Donuts - Portland - Photo album

Lots of amazing flavors coming from this little donut shop! I was visiting a friend and she brought me to BSD and we got a 1/2 dozen to try the variety of flavors. My favorite was probably the champagne pie donut although they were all very good. Also, I was a fan of the peppermint mocha, but that
The donuts are amazing, the coffee is great, the service and vibes are super nice. Definitely a great place to visit in Portland!! The donuts are crunchy at the outside and soft in the inside with great flavor but not too sweet, love it!
Loved the donuts! Right amount of sweetness and a ton of variety. Tried almost all flavors and my fav were : Tropical Delight Orange Oil Crunchy Maple Bar
Go here immediately! I had the vegan orange olive oil donut and it was INCREDIBLE!! It was so moist and not too sweet. I was a little concerned about the fennel because it’s not my favorite flavor but really couldn’t taste it. The service was very good too. It’s a good thing I don’t live close to a
Blue Star lives up to the hype. It truly is bursting with flavor with a nice texture donut to bite into. We had the raspberry rosemary old fashioned, blueberry bourbon basil, and passion fruit cocoa nib. No complaints here!
FIVE. DOLLARS. for ONE. DONUT. I almost threw up when they rang me up at the counter. A dozen donuts will cost you $60!!!! Besides the price. Its a truly religious experience of donut that will impress your taste buds and they have delightfully friendly staff. 5/5.
Cool flavors, nice taste. I’ll be real… not my favorite when there are sooooo many in Portland… but they are still for sure worth a try.
Delicious! I got the vegan Orange Olive Oil donut and now I wish I would’ve grabbed both vegan options to try.
I can easily say these are the best donuts I have ever had! The flavors are original and the donuts are fresh. Go out of your way to try this shop. You will leave smiling!
I have tried 9-10 droughts from here and I tend to enjoy their old-fashioned doughnuts more than others so far. It is tender, moist and dense, but it is not heavy. Even next day, I enjoyed the texture and flavor :) I have tried 3 different filling doughnuts, and I wish they filled with more cream /
I recently had the pleasure of trying Blue Star Doughnuts for the first time and I must say, they did not disappoint! The doughnuts were light and fluffy, and the flavors were unique and delicious. The raspberry rosemary doughnut was my favorite - the combination of sweet and savory flavors was a pe
Imaginative donut flavors with fantastic execution. THESE are the donuts Portland should be legendary for. Blueberry bourbon basil, chocolate bergamot old fashioned, raspberry rosemary... Each donut is well worth the price.
I love blue star donuts. Nobody else makes donuts like they do. The donuts are fresh, unique, and one of a kind. The flavors are so wonderfully selected and the brioche dough is perfect for these donuts you have to be quick though, or you may miss out as they tend to sell out fast. I do not live clo
Good, but not as good as voodoo. We came to Portland for the weekend and read tons of articles saying blue star donuts was the place to go. We ended up going to both blue star and voodoo and voodoo was much better. They also seem to run out of options really fast (we came in the afternoon). Voodoo h
Yummy! Quality over quantity as advertised. Each donut has a unique flavour and is really tasty. I liked that it was not overly sweet. We liked it better than voodoo donuts which are equally popular in Portland. There are many unusual varieties of donuts too. A must visit if you enjoy donuts.
These are tasty, but the texture just wasn’t doing it for me. I like my old-fashioned donuts to be crispy flaky sweet on the outside and just cakey, moist, and tearable on the inside. There were lots of flavors offered at Blue Star and the workers were super friendly and helpful. However, the textu
Loved this place so much on my last trip I made a huge detour to come back and grab a dozen for the trip back home! Such a small world having met someone from the same neck of the woods! (Er.. more like high desert😅) till next time!!
