Great quality for conveyer sushi. Salmon nigiri was my favorite and the fish was delicious. The train was a highlight so try to get a spot at the bar for this fun experience. :)

Loved the sushi train. Enjoyed several items from the train and ordered some sushi specialty items off menu. Neat place. Good 🍣 sushi and service.

Super fresh fish. Love the counter around the sushi chefs where a miniature train brings some offerings before the guests. One can also order off a menu. The staff were kind and helpful. Terrific prices with a huge selection of food. Will make the drive from Salem for this restaurant!

One of my favorite spots in Portland, truly. It’s owned by a family that all seem to work there at different shifts and the vibe shows it. It homey but chill and the food is always on point. Plus there’s a choo choo what could be better. Been coming here for years and I’m glad they survived the pandemic. Looking forward to coming here for many years to come.

Not the best sushi I have ever had, but it was a good experience. The Spider roll was pretty good, along with the shrimp tempura roll. The selection was pretty good and one of the best conveyor belt style sushi restaurants I have been to in the United States!

Love the train. This is the best dive sushi around. The restaurant has been there for years, and a few of the chefs have been working there since early 2000. They have cheap eats on Wednesday and Saturday, so get there early. It used to be a line but not much anymore. Pull up at the bar, grab something from the train, and enjoy.

Parking is a headache here as its located in downtown and you may have to drive around for a while until you find a spot. The area is also very sketchy as there is a lot of homeless walking around. I had to repark as I was not comfortable leaving my car there, even for 10 minutes. I wont hold that against the restaurant as that is not their fault. Overall the food tasted great and the service was excellent. There are signs saying they are currently understaffed/hiring so you may have to be patient. I came close to closing and there wasn't a huge selection on the train but you can always order from the menu.

Our daughter favorite spot for sushi! The staff is always nice. They know what my daughter likes and they are always asking if we are doing well. Location can be tricky to navégate, but we are very familiar with life in downtown and love to just walk to the restaurant.

Came in super hungry. The place was pretty full but we saw good reviews online. We waited a couple minutes for 3 seats and we hit the ground running. We got a heads up from the female server about the many tickets ahead of us, which we appreciated. We still sat down cause we were hungry and they had good reviews. I was so busy eating that I never even took pictures of the food. The little train was cute and brought by a refilling variety of different plates I wanted to try while we waited for our ticket. The servers got us out giant beer and even answered pointed sake questions for our friend. We left so full and the quality of food was delicious. We liked the seared salmon. I liked the caterpillar roll. Always a mackerel fan. The karaage we ordered from the kitchen was also delicious. Thank you!

NUMBER ONE SUSHI in old town! Awesome train sushi belt quickly brings your favorites at the bar! Serving great freshly sliced fish and rolls! Menu has some classics such as chicken yakisoba, they have regular booths and tables for your family.

Best Agradashi Tofu I've ever had, broth was rich with umami depth of flavor. Amazing Teriyaki tofu (pictured). Hamachi was buttery, just simply melted in my mouth. Avocado rolls were fat, many delicious and affordable vegan options.

We visited for dinner during a recent trip from Canada. Loved the train and sitting at the bar/counter. We tried a few different things with shumai being our top pick. Everything was fresh, and the service was excellent!

I mean, it's a sushi joint right off Burnside. The atmosphere can be a bit dicey. But the sushi is really delicious (excellent fish!) And you just can't beat the little train they use to bring it around to you. Keep on rockin', Sushi Ichiban!

Great way to eat lots of types of sushi for cheap. The yellowtail was good which is usually a miss at cheap sushi places. I recommend trying at least once for fun!

I love this place. The aesthetic is perfect, the train carrying the sushi is a gimmick that makes me so happy, and the food itself is delicious and well priced. The nigiri wasn’t super attached to itself which made it a little difficult to eat, and some of the rolls were way larger than they needed to be, but you quickly learn what to grab and what not to. If you only get white plates you can get a large meal for cheap!

I had never been to a place like this. It was a very cool/fun experience! There is a mini train that drives around the bar with sushi and other things on it and you just grab what you'd like and they just count up your plates at the end. The staff were very friendly and attentive! It was also very cheap!
