Great restaurant right next door to the new Ritz hotel. We’ve come here everytime we are in Portland. Tons of liquor options, bartenders are friendly, drinks are great and food is fantastic. Fun point= they buy ice blocks for perfect ice for your old fashions. Def worth checking out, grabbing a drink or snack and more. I know we will be back again when in Portland.

Went here with coworkers and it was a good time. The cocktails were satisfying and the food was well cooked and delicious. Our server was very knowledgeable and checked in on us frequently. I love the atmosphere and the decor, very cozy and elegant. Will have to come back to try some other menu items. They also have a small happy hour menu with interesting selections.

Food and drinks were good but a bit on the pricey side. It's a nice place in a nice hotel so I get it. But charging an automatic kitchen service fee is ridiculous. Just pay your employees. I can go to one of twenty places with drinks and food just as good that doesn't add a fee. So I probably won't be going back to Bullard.

I recently visited Bullard Tavern in Portland and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy fireplace and rustic decor. The service was top-notch, with the staff being friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The drinks menu was also impressive, with a wide selection of craft beers, wines, and cocktails. The desserts were fantastic and are definitely worth trying. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Bullard Tavern and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in a laid-back atmosphere.

Fine dining at an affordable rate. House made pickles, buns, burgers. A baker comes in at 4am to bake the desserts daily. Everything was to a high standard of quality. Clean and relaxed atmosphere. The guy next to me got hot wings and it was hard for me not to order those with my burger. I may try on my next visit

Lunch: Fried chicken ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - the chicken was just ok but I liked the sides Daily sandwich - turkey club ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ - this was so much better than I was expecting. Wow. - not much of a sandwich person but I liked it. Would want to try the burger in the future. The fries were delicious.

Delicious in every way but the main show were the sauces! I got oysters ( not shown) and the mignonette was something I had no shame in tasting by itself. And the ranch for the smoked & grilled wings was made in house you could taste from the fresh dill. One of the city's best happy hours for sure!

We wanted some small plates for a quick bite. I was in Portland for work training and found this place by accident. We walked in a got a table really quickly. Our was right in front of the bar and it kept reminding me of the bar in the Shining(best way). The servers were really nice and friendly. The pricing was not bad for the quick. We got the fritters and nachos to start and then the stone fruit and wings. Around 60 total. But it was super relaxing and very peaceful for easy conversation with my partner. Would go again.

I love great cooking and tasty food with a buttoned up decor and service to match, this place is 5 stars worth of that. Top 5 best Brunches in Portland, and I'm holding room because I've only found 2 worthy so far. We got the chicken breakfast tacos, smashburger, and loaded hashbrows, with all cooked perfectly and in full flavor! Service was very attentive and warm, and the interior design made me think I was in Chicago or NYC. Open kitchen design was super appreciated and it wasn't even noisy. Will absolutely return!

This place was superb. Was able to snag a bar seat on new years eve. Great evening/late night vibe. Perfect for a date. Drinks were perfect and food was delicious. We had the brussel sprouts, mushroom fajitas and a burger. This burger was phenomenal, cooked perfectly, and was thick and juicy as a restaraunt burger should be! Bartenders did a great job. Will definitely be back again.

Went to Bullard Tavern for Thanksgiving Dinner, here’s my takeaway: Carpaccio (pictured) - WOW. So flavorful. It won’t make you full, but Man, it is full of flavor. Thanksgiving meal (pictured) - Outstanding. Gives you all the classics in perfect proportion. Looks just as good as the picture. Bonnie McMurray - I’m an old fashion or manhattan kind of guy and this thing delivers flavor like the other two don’t. Simply Great. If you’re a bourbon drinker, give this one a try. You’ll leave satisfied and full. There’s only one thing that separated this from being a perfect meal. Everyone loves leftovers for thanksgiving, and we asked if we could get a few rolls for the road. I told them I’d be happy to buy them, if necessary. They told us they couldn’t do it because they made the perfect amount for the meals to go out. Other than that, an absolute perfect meal with an environment that’s just as good.

It's NOT TEX-MEX as stated on Google, it's more American Bistro with seafood, chicken, steak, and shareable plates. Cocktails are great and food is delicious! 5 of us shared the 2lb ribeye steak ($128) with fingerling potatoes and it was tasty and satisfying.

Bullard is exactly what you want from a restaurant/bar attached to a hotel. The food is upscale but not pretentious, drinks are solid and the vibe is cozy and warm. I got the burger and fries. While $27 is a little high, IMO, you have to expect some hotel inflation when going in. The burger was cooked as requested (medium rare) and the fries were solid.

Great meal and experience. Sat at the bar and ordered a few items off the menu. The beet and strawberry salad was next level good. Also tried to hush puppies and enjoyed those. Would come back for another meal.

Terrific brunch, we ordered the smoked beef ribs, shrimp and grits and apple cake donuts. All were delicious, the ribs were super tender, smoky and paired perfectly with the rest of the plate. Loved the fried grits, crispy on the outside and cream interior. Service was on point and cocktails were great!

In a city with no shortage of awesome brunch options, Bullard manages to stand out by execution alone. Some of the best cookery you'll find downtown, and if you don't believe me, just try the french toast chocolate croutons.
