Costello's Travel Caffe - Portland - Photo album

I can't say enough good things about Costello's Travel Caffe since the new owners took over! This place has truly become a hidden gem in the neighborhood. If you're looking for a cozy spot with delicious, handmade bakery items and an excellent selection of breakfast, lunch, and coffee shop treats, l
New Management!!! It had been a few years since I had been in and now it is truly worth dropping back in for coffee and pastries! The new owners remind me of the original Costello owners who had bakers in the family, and the front of house has a warm vibe. I ordered a blackberry scone, an America
I popped in for breakfast with a friend and their doggo. Order at the counter for table service. We found a table outside to accommodate doggo. Our server was really sweet and brought out a water bowl for the pup. Weekday mornings are the best time to pop on without a wait. We saw quite a few more p
Found this place randomly and I really liked it. Great selection of drinks and food with a world traveling theme. Super cozy, no frills, not pretentious. Great for studying or working. I sat outside which was perfect for people watching and fresh air. I got an iced chai latte and the club sandwich!
I really enjoyed my breakfast here. People were nice, the coffee was perfect and wasn't burnt or overly "green" like many shops. I had a breakfast sandwich that was also perfect. The bacon was crispy, the food was hot and the egg was cooked fully. Overall pretty perfect.
Costello’s Travel Cafe is a must-stop to eat!! Grab a patio table if the weather is nice. If not, enjoy sitting at a table in the warm and eclectic interior. I ordered the Bacon and Berry salad with chicken. Phenomenal!! The chicken had a delicious herb crust, and the vinegarette was packed with fl
Holy smokes. I'm quite surprised, the cold brew is delicious. Soft bodied but bold. Cold brew done right. I added vanilla so you get that tease of sweet and flavor. The coffee cake was delicious as well. It was a little dry but the taste made up for it. I'm more than sure it's perfect when fresh. Ta
The new owners are lovely and apple tart was incredible! I am definitely coming back for more . Don’t overlook the pie case.
Stopped in for a late breakfast and coffee the first morning of our week-long trip to Portland. We'll definitely be back more this week. Had the breakfast sandwich and quiche Lorraine and both were outstanding. The drip coffee was also perfect and paired nicely with one of their marionberry scones.
This is a cute little Mom/Pop Shop. Loved it all!!! As soon as you enter you get a warm calm feeling (the staff calls frequent locals by their names) It was an awesome experience!! Food was sooo good! Made me feel at home. Definitely reccomend the waffles !!! And if you are picky(like me) they are v
Highly recommend - Ham Croissant, Quiche and Waffles These are actually the only three things we tried on our first and only visit to date. Definitely visiting the restaurant again. The european theme in the restaurant is very evident with the music and TV visuals changing every week. Its a little
Costellos Travel Cafe's new owners Kyle and Tumiko are fabulous--kind and skilled with a genuine desire to create a lovely time for customers. Costellos has taken on the same feel from years ago of a caring, community gathering place. Tumiko makes all the baked goods which are divine. Perfectly trai
Had some good coffee cake, they have a great selection. Same with quiche - a few to pick from. They have outdoor seating & friendly staff. They also seem to attract chatty locals. We had a couple tables that chatted with us and each other. Great little spot and happy to be a part of their communit
The best breakfast I’ve had in a while! The fruit + hazelnut waffle was delicious and we also ordered an omelette to share, the caramelized onions are a MUST! Best part of the entire meal!
Pretty great, overall. I want to give it 4.5 stars, but that, of course, is not an option. Happy, friendly staff. Fair enough prices. Decent selection of food if you get there early enough. (This was the painful part -- I got there around 1:30pm, and the food options were pretty slim. I settled on
Good coffee. There was a good gluten free muffin I tried too. Tv plays images from europe and around the world. Rustic decor.
This place has it ALL☆ Great service, Great food, even better coffee and spirits 😉. It is crowed in the mornings but such warm and welcoming feeling.
The farmer's scramble is fantastic. I wish they wouldn't charge $1 for toast but whatever. I'll be back to try other things soon.
Very good club sandwich. Nice atmosphere
