Khao Soy Thai Restaurant - Portland - Photo album

I read some reviews and some were great and others were pretty bad. I would say this place is good. The fried spring rolls and dip were just like any other I have tried. The chicken fried rice was not too salty not bland my youngest loved it. The phad Thai with shrimp was good I added more veggies b
First Thai place we’ve tried since returning from Chiang Mai- Khao Soy took us back- you could tell it’s nicer and ingredients- creamier, fresher veggies, better meat cuts, different presentation but still tasted like genuine Khao Soy. $16 a bowl…. more than I spent on the 4 bowls of Khao Soy I orde
Great flavors but Omg, when you get something spicy, step down a level from what you're used to. I personally am used to something on the level of Frank's or tobacco and barely break a sweat, I ordered medium pad Thai and was crying. This stuff is no joke!
Was visiting oregon and spending a night locally. Looked up some places near by and found this gem. I had the Pad Thai and my gf had the pineapple rice. Both were really good. Also, the spring rolls were good as well. I recommend this place. More importantly, support the local places over the big
As a huge fan of Khao Soi, (a northern Thailand dish hard to find at most Thai places), I have found my new favorite! I figured a place named after the dish would have a pretty stellar version of it and it absolutely did. Again, incredible Khao Soi. I will be returning often just for this dish. Thei
Absolutely Delicious!! Wow. Casually popped in, glad we did. Definitely GO!! Ordered Veg Red Curry & Pork Fried Rice.
Friendly, Thai family-run business. Popular take-out place for locals, with ample seating. I had the beef pad see eew with veggie tempura. Very tasty and filling. Waaay better than my local Thai place back home.
We ordered the panang curry and pad thai to take out. Food was of good portion, delicious and authentic thai. Would definitely want to try out some of their other food on the menu next time. Lovely location and ambience too for a sit-in.
Since returning from Chiang Mai in February, this what the first Thai restaurant I braved visiting in fear of being disappointed with American Thai food after all the fresh (and cheap) deliciousness in Thailand. I was excited to order the khao soy, Chiang Mai's regional dish that isn't so common on
This place is a little underrated. Their food is really good, and I have never seen it full when I go to eat there. They have different selection of spicy (like any other Thai place) but if you are not sure about what level to order go with mild. I did medium and it was freaking hot. Last few times
