I love this place! I feel like with the area of the location it's in, it's a diamond in the rough. It could use a bit of a makeover, but I still enjoy going there. The staff there have always been very friendly. They backfill the food quickly. The food is always DELICIOUS. And the price is reasonable.
If I had to complain about anything it would just be that they haven't had samosas the last few times I've gone. I'm not sure if they've taken it off their menu or if they don't serve them at certain times/days.

We attended the lunch buffet for $16 and we don’t regret it. There were too many options that we could try and believe me.. everything I tried was amazing.. I wish I could eat more and never stop.. Palak paneer, vegetable Vindaloo.. chole, soft Naan.. potato and brinjal fritters.. everything was soo good.. very authentic.. no extra spice.. just full of flavors..

Don't let the location, the outside, the unassuming environment fool you. This is one of the best and most varied laid out buffet in town. Highly recommended.
The location is rather .. unwelcoming on first look. There's nothing spectacular about this location. Dont let that fool you. The food is amazing.
The food is great. All the options are mildly flavored (not too spicey, not too bland), and there are a LOT of varieties! Each dish is clearly labeled and the ingredients listed--in case one is sensitive or allergic to an ingredient. This is awesome. The options include 3 varieties of rice, a lot of veggies, couple of desserts and two flavors of ice cream, and a lot of veggie curry and a lot of meat curry, and complete with naan and tendori. Just an amazing amount of options.
The crew is very friendly, very kind, and very engaging.
Another thing that is great is... you can get utensils--unlimited quantities of utensils. Whaa?? Have you gone to buffets where you get ONE fork for the entire meal?? ONE lousy fork and they ask you to keep it...So, yeah, you stab your strawberry cake with greasy fork and your cake now taste like pork BBQ. No! This buffet will take your utensils and you get a fresh set. I don't know why resturants don't do this and instead force you to use ONE fork for the entire meal!
Cost of $20 in year 2023 is very reasonable and typical for buffets, just about every buffet any kind is charging that amount. This place you feel you get your cost worth due to great team service, great food options, and great flavor!
Come try it out. You won't regret it.

I was there for dinner, the rice was old as if it was sitting there since the morning. Some of the meat options were good. I might try on lunch to see if the food is more fresh.

Namaste is definitely worth a visit. The buffet spread is quite extensive and includes a wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The ambiance is comfortable and relaxed, making it the perfect place to catch up with friends and family over a delicious meal. Don't forget the coconut and mango ice cream for dessert.

Delicious! There's many different varieties of food here and so many to choose from. I love the curry and chickens. The staffs are friendly and nice too.

This is probably my favorite restaurant! A step above every Indian buffet I've been to. Besides the flavorful food, I would pay to go just for the homemade soft serve! It's good I don't live too close by, because I would eat that mango ice cream every night. The coconut is also great. The Gao Chicken Curry was my favorite entree, but everything I tried was delicious.

This place is so freaking good. Such a good price for everything you get. New to Indian food or just haven’t tried many dishes? Here’s your chance. Everything is so good. I especially love to finish my meal with the mango/coconut swirl soft serve. So refreshing.

All you can eat buffet style Indian cuisine. We went with two vegan friends and they had plenty of choices. The food was okay and filling. A little pricey for the quality and only one person was working.

Calm, and the atmosphere has good vibes.
The chicken butter is very good and the lamb is perfect .. the only thing that I didn’t like was the yogurt sweet dessert

Finally i came across this gem in the heart of oregon. Their food quality was very good and super tasty. The servers working there always carried a smile on their face making the atmosphere more welcoming and friendly. All in all a very good experience. 5 stars! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

I like to Google a place and check out the average score so I was surprised to see this place only at 4 stars. I was apprehensive at first, but I miss the all you can eat Indian buffet experience.
As of November 2022 for lunch, it was only $14 and this place totally blew me away! I normally skip the rice at Indian buffets, but the chicken Briyani here is out of this world! The chicken within the rice was even better than the ones they had in the curries. Which brings me to my one negative view... The butter chicken here is not very good and it is more of a tomato stew than anything. However, it redeems itself with the awesome Coconut and Mango flavored ice cream machine. I would come here just for that!
This is my new go-to spot in Oregon now. The parking lot looked kinda scary and there were a lot of people roaming around, but they mean no harm :)

Always amazing. All you can eat buffet and it's all great quality! I've been going here for more than 5 years and I've never once been disappointed. Very clean, very friendly staff, and multiple locations.

If you're looking for an easy win, this is it! We walked in just before 8 (the buffet for dinner goes until 8:30), and yet all the dishes were pretty full. The service was warm, and the dishes were straight up fire. Everything was rich in flavor, and we enjoyed all the sauces and chutneys. The fried items weren't the freshest, but again, it was the end of the night and they were still good. The place is a bit dated but who cares? Definitely going on the "do-again" list!

Went for the lunch buffet and and enjoyed the huge selection of options. Large salad bar and hot food selection. Sampled many but didn't have room to try everything. The mango ice cream was delicious too! I'd definitely eat here regularly if I lived in Portland. Very good.

There were so many options that I wanted to try out everything one by one, but I was full.
All the dry meat items like chicken pokaoda, roasted chicken etc., were quite bland, but curry items were tasty. I quite like the mutton curry and the chicken tikka. Those were my favorite.
This place is a steal if you would like to try many Indian food from different states. 16 $ for that food is a great price.
I would recommend that place

My favourite Indian place in town! Their buffet is terrific, their Butter (makhani) chicken is top-shelf, their kheer is delicious, and the mango soft serve is amazing! My wife and I live closer to a couple of other Indian places, but Namaste is our go-to and it’s totally worth the extra distance!

The nastiest food I've ever eaten. Do not eat here, at least the place on NE Weilder locations. Trust me you can find better Indian food.

[Portland location]Horrible food.. Won't recommend it to anyone.. Ordered butter chicken and malai kofta.. Gravy for both of them were the same and equally tasteless... What a waste of money and time..

Always good with plenty of selection and kind people. Delicious. Take your family and friends. The only negative is you will eat too much.

I also owned restaurant before and i know its hard job , some people good practices and some people like them cheats. There are lots of problem i can't write all but some are we went there to book for our party for 70 people and they told us we have to buy food per tray and we told we have done party last time and we pay by per person but they said rules has been changed and they show us the price book with a tray and we have to say ok their was no other choices then they told us again just because we pay for hall and cleaning fee we are allowed to get our own food then we said thats good then. Then the owner show his true color he call us to talk at the middle of the party and told us now he want to charge by per person or if we do by per tray we both agreed before then i have to pay extra $100 dollar for using plastic spoon and the is increase by $30 or more in all food what he show in his menu before and send us naan what we havent ordered just to charge us more and i know why he do that i know it cost money to run the restaurant i am not complaining they charged too much which they did i am just saying stick to yours words just because you didn't see big check coming out of my pocket which is yours mistake dont use your clever mind to screw customer's around use your mind into cooking coz your food needs more work to taste good and i pay all that extra money because i was in happy mode and its my daughter's birthday. The morale of the story is if anyone thinking to do party at this place then think twice and get it in all writing
