Love the vibes here, so airy and bright. Great service, offered the specials and recommendations. Ramen is so good, especially the yellow curry. Cucumber salad is fresh and delicious. The spicy edamame is sweet and spicy, very delicious. Very reasonable prices for good quality food. Definitely going back again.

I had the pork belly rice bowl. I think it’s good, the pork belly itself is very crispy and chewy (I think a little too hard to my preference but still good) The cucumber avocado salad really hit the spot for me since I LOVE both cucumber and avocado. The 2 ramen wise I would vote for the tonkotsu ramen over the spicy one (and I’m usually all about spicy food) But the tonkotsu one is very flavorful and you can really taste the sesame flavoring or something (I think it’s delicious 👌🏻) rather than kinda drowned out by the spicy flavoring(? Overall it is very very good. But the reason why I took away a star is because it is very rich and salty. (Which isn’t necessarily bad, and I can see some people really liking it) But for instance, the mayo on the rice bowl got too rich and heavy really quick(greasy almost?) or how salty the soup is. (Again I know it’s all personal preference) Also parking isn’t the easiest to find around since there’s many restaurants but all street parking. Anyways I’m still excited to come back for more but maybe I’ll remember to ask for less sodium next time lol

Excellent spot in a very vibey corner of PDX. We stopped in with some friends and all loved the experiences. Atmosphere was bright and cozy, and the food was just excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed a yuzu lychee punch drink (non alcoholic), the tots + pork belly, and a couple bowls of tonkotsu ramen. Wow. All of it was just delicious and a perfect warm meal on these chilly fall evenings. Parking was rough though - the area is just full of awesome food joints and it meant a lot of folks hunting for parking spots. We circled the block a couple times and waited 5-10 min before we were able to snag a spot. Worth it, just be patient! We visit Portland regularly and will certainly keep this place on the list of favorites.

It is an excellent place to dine for ramen. The interior seating area is very roomy and contemporary. It has two separate dining areas. One d ining area is by the entrance. The other dining area is further in the restaurant by the bar and restroom. I love there are hanging hooks on the wall railing for me to hook my purse and shopping bags. What a great idea! We ordered the spicy red miso ramen, tonkotsu shio ramen, chicken karaoke and okonomyaki tots without crispy potk belly. The ramen bowl looks decent and you get good serving size of ramen. The char shiu pieces were way too fatty for us. However we loved the crispy pork belly bits. I preferred the spicy red miso broth. The tonkotsu broth is good but rather bland. The spicy red miso had good flavor and was not spicy really. I wish it came with black garlic oil. The tots was fine and it came with finely shaved fish flakes. I really enjoyed the chicken karaage. The chicken pieces were juicy and had very good flavor. Parking is definitely street parking only. It cam be difficult to find a spot depending on when you visit this restaurant. I highly recommend this place. The service was excellent.

9/23 still great! Excellent service and even though there are lots of people, you do not feel rushed. The vegetable ramen was better than I remembered. We also really liked the vegetable sushi roll and the cucumber and avocado salad. The cocktail was unusual and tasty if a little sweet for me. I can't wait to go back!

Excellent food and service! The ramen I had was excellent, the mushrooms were very well seasoned, the broth was delicious, and the egg was perfectly cooked. I also ordered a half sushi, which is this sushi made into a single hand roll (kinda looks like a sushi taco). I that that was also great, though I felt like it would have been better to just order a whole roll. Overall great service with very friendly staff. I also enjoyed the atmosphere of the venue.

One of the best tasting Ramen I’ve tried. The broth is filed with flavor, the noodles have a great texture and cooked to a good point where they aren’t soggy or hard and the pork and egg were perfect.

The ramen is amazing! Best I have ever had. Definitely going to be craving it. The chili on the garlic edamame made it kinda sweet which in my opinion made it taste better. Drinks were devine. Service was wonderful.

I’m not a fan of ramen, at least that’s what I thought. I have been to a few ramen place and decided that I just didn’t like ramen. Boxer ramen has completely changed my mind. This place was amazing. It was amazing, I will definitely be coming back. The staff was really friendly and attentive and the place is very clean.

Everything I have had at Boxer has been amazing! From the ramen to the vegetarian sushi I love it all. I have gone multiple times and tried something each time and always end up enjoying it. I find that the price is reasonable for the high quality and taste of the food. The service is also very amazing. The people there are very friendly and welcoming. The servers always come at the right time and are very knowable of their menu. The atmosphere is also very enjoyable. They offer a wide variety of food options with something for everyone.

Tried this spot out for Happy Hour with my husband and it was AMAZING! Everything was a good deal and tasted fantastic. I cannot recommend this spot enough! There was nothing that we ordered that we didn't love. We loved: - Drinks: tart and refreshing (we got the cherry limeade and the lavender lemonade) - Pot Stickers: Fried really crispy with a good ratio of filling. The sweet chili dipping was perfect and not too spicy, and the pickled cabbage on the side was a nice crunch! - Karaage Chicken: SO MOIST! This crispy fried chicken was so moist and flavorful and was perfect dipped in the sweet mayo it came with - Pork Belly Bowl: Small but mighty! For only $8 it packs a punch! The sweet and creamy mayo, the creamy ramen egg, the fried pork belly (like bacon bits) and green onion were very good. Savory, filling, and delicious - Okonomiyaki Tots: The nori and bonito moved with the steam and were a perfect addition to this sweet and salty side. Rich and decadent and would order again and again!

Need some delicious and quick ramen? This is the place! The vegetarian ramen was delicious - definitely a hearty meal so arrive hungry! The shishito peppers were excellent too! Try and come outside of their busy hours if you want the quick food though. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Sashimi trio 10/10 so fresh and flavorful. Pleasantly surprised. Tonkotsu not as rich broth as traditional would be. A tad salty but flavorful. Not traditional noodles either but still satisfying

@eatswithvick on Instagram: Really enjoyed our meal here, got the edamame and green beans to start and then the vegetable curry ramen & salmon avocado roll. The only reason I give four stars is because while the staff were really friendly, we felt so rushed while eating. We were asked what we wanted to order within minutes of sitting down and the waiter would come and ask for an update a bit too frequently when we said we needed more time. There were multiple open tables and it was not busy so it wasn’t like people we were waiting to get in. Would come back though, food was great
