Food front is a lovely little local co-op store. A lot of the products are local and/or organic. The produce is always high quality and fresh. Their selection of other goods, save wine and beer, is quite limited. You should be aware that the prices are much higher than you would find anywhere else.
Love shopping here for past ten years. I always stop in before or after a hike in forest park. And for groceries weekly. One thing though, the parking lot security man is rude as heck..I am considering going elsewhere because of him.

I love this store! Great items and prices with an authentic neighborhood feel. The hot bar/salad bar is amazingly delicious and fresh, with interesting yet comfortable options. My only complaint is how early their hot bar closes, I think 7 PM on weekdays and 6 PM on weekends..

For such a small space, the grocers here do a great job. Parking is easy. Fast in and out. The deli is outstanding. Try one of their made-to-order sandwiches (my fave--pastrami). Seriously good.
