These fish tacos are the best we’ve found in Portland. Authentic, regional and delicious. The margaritas are superior here as well.

Today is Pozole day! Every Saturday is Pozole day at San Felipe Taqueria! We are huge fans and somewhat Pozole snobs and we LOVE the Pozole at San Felipe! It’s perfectly balanced with lots of pork and ample hominy. The cabbage, onions with oregano, the lime and the hot sauce are lovely accoutrements! San Felipe is also famous for their fish tacos! We love pretty much everything on their menu and look forward to being able to enjoy a delicious margarita inside the bar area when we’re able to dine indoors The outdoor dining area is great on a warm sunny day. I’m the meantime, take out, it is!! The staff is warm and friendly. I hope they survive this darn pandemic. I’ll do whatever I can to support them. Support local restaurants!

Got there at midday on a Tuesday and they had not gotten their fish shipment yet, so instead I ordered Huevos Rancheros. Great proportions for the price!

Best fish tacos in town. So yum. Avoid them during busy times if you're impatient.

Okay this place is delicious. I had the pork burrito, and I believe that sometimes burritos can only be as tasty as the hot sauce that you put on them, but not this one. My wife had the shrimp tacos and they were to die for. Full bar, great beer, great and friendly staff, super kid friendly, great environment. What a fantastic place to sit outside enjoy a margarita, have some chips and salsa. We will continue to come back and bring the whole family. Oh and the burrito was huge, the pork was cooked perfectly which I think can be easily overdone. The rice and beans we perfect also.

Will be back again, for sure. Service is a huge thing for me when I post reviews. Haven't had the food yet, (ordered some street tacos, but asked for them a little later during my drink and dine in experience) one drink on the house. Both of the guy's restaurants have amazing reviews. Excited for the food. Excited to try both restaurants/bars. Will update if food is sub par. But I think I'm in for a real treat.

This place is a gem! It's been super busy of course because places are filling up again. I happen to go a Friday evening and they were slammed! (Knowing it's the same everywhere) I was not bothered at all about wait times. We need to support these local mom and pop shops to keep thriving and feed us with delicious food. Hey, if they sell out before you get there. Oi vey, It must be yummy.

I've never been disappointed with the food here. Their tacos are made fresh in house and you can't get much better than $3.50 for an authentic, made-to-order taco! Amazing staff and service too!

Definitely one of my favorite, possible my all time favorite restaurant to dine at. I am a big eater, and I am a guy who likes things plain. I always order the kids bean burrito with some asada, and it has so much flavor, and comes in a very generous size. Their fish tacos are what they are famous for, so I would recommend that. Small thing to add as well, this is the best place to get M&M's or Skittles because the quarter machines give large amounts, 38 M^M's with one quarter. (Full sized: 55 M&M's)

Could not have gotten luckier finding this gem. The food is fantastic and the abuelas in the kitchen are cooking up some of the most authentic Mexican food in Oregon. Highly recommend eating here. The wet burritos, hard and soft tacos are all 5-⭐

So, I love their fish tacos. I love the fast service and I'm good with the prices. I do not understand charging $1.25 for stale chips that are sitting out in dishes. Free? Yes please! Charge me for that, you may just lose a customer on principle. Especially when they have always been free!

I have had a lot of Tacos, and this place has by far the best dang tacos in the Portland! Make sure to get their homemade flour tortilla tacos. They are large and the meat is seasoned beautifully. I ate these things so fast, I wasn’t able to take a photo! So stop by, grab a beer here or next door at unicorn brewing, and mow down on the beat tacos in Portland! They have plenty of outside picnic tables if the weather is clear.

Had the halibut burrito today and it was awesome. Could use less beans but that's for next time. The salsa was not my favorite but I've had a number of things off the menu here and have never really been disappointed. I recommend!
