Tacos were a good value I can't pick a favorite I enjoyed the grilled fish, chicken and the chorizo tacos. Customer service is friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is super fun.

Stella Taco is one of my go-to places for a quick, healthy lunch. If you're on the slow-carb diet or trying to avoid carbs in general, order the Guadalupe Bowl and instead of rice as the base, they can give you shredded kale. If you're strict about slow-carb, tell them no cheese. It's delicious and healthy. Their tacos are also great. And their queso is the best I've had in Portland. It's even better than Chipotle's queso, if you can believe it! (jokes, people; jokes)

In for a quick bite. Pollo asado so good I went back for seconds. Simple and tasty coarse chopped kale salad with pepitas. Fish taco was tasty too with picked carrots and a little jicama. Cheap eats with lots of options. Looking for a quick bite then this is perfect. Service is fast. Have a good selection of canned/bottled beer and a few hard ciders. Nachos looked really good too bad I didn't come in with a bigger appetite. And darn, on they way out I saw them mixing fresh margaritas. Next time Nachos and a margarita for me.

Games to play while you wait, but if you order nachos they come really fast and you won't get a chance

Amazing food! I love how fresh everything is and has different textures. My favorite is the breakfast bowl. The combination of flavors and textures in it is pure perfection. You can tell they pay attention to details, rice and beans are always fresh, even their tortilla chips are seasoned. Food comes out quick, service is always friendly. Never had drinks here.

I love this place. The tacos are always good and the service is fast. The tortas are pretty good but the tacos are great. The brisket is awesome and spicy while the chicken is cooked and seasoned perfectly. Recently I tried the Alberta bowl and was blown away. Easily my favorite thing they offer. A huge portion for a great price. We normally eat here once a week and are never disappointed.

Some of the most creative and equally delicious tacos I have ever had. I frequently visit here and bring friends along who also greatly enjoy. The nachos are bomb as well. The only bummer is the shredded beef taco is changed and not nearly as good. :( But that's my only complaint.

I did enjoy this stop on our taco crawl. They had great food, I highly recommend the nachos. However the margaritas were not my favorite flavor/mix. Your personal preference may vary!

Bright, colorful, fun atmosphere, friendly staff and the tacos (fish and fried avocado) were amazing. I also really enjoyed the queso and house seasoned chips, as well as the "Austin Rita" - a frozen margarita in a spicy rimmed glass with a Corona on top! I have no idea if it was authentic but I really don't care. :)

Interesting and tasty tacos for carnivores and vegetarians alike. They come on corn tortillas but you can request flour tortillas if you swing that way and, please believe, I do. Interesting beers, yummy drinks, and their tortilla chips are seasoned. I do not swing that way but maybe you do. More power to ya. ;)

Stella Taco offers delicious food! You can taste the care and quality in everything from the fried avocado tacos to the sweet and smoky salsa. Growing up in NYC where we have a multitude of eatery options offering high quality, high flavor food options, I find it can be challenging to satisfy my expectations. This place does it! My go to spot for an overall attitude adjustment (the nachos make me smile). I take all my friends. DELICIOUS!!!

Tacos! Good tacos. Need I say more? I will anyway. I've been here a few times. This is not a taqueria where you tell them how to make your food. They have pre-designed dishes (tacos), just like a regular restaurant. All the different tacos are excellent. I am particularly enamored with their nachos. I also recommend their horchata. You order, they give you a number that you hang over your seats. Seating is semi-family style. The prices are around $4 a taco and it's worth it. I can handle 1.5 tacos & half a nachos so I bring my wife.

I forgot for a few minutes that I’m in Portland, but in a good way. Colorful Tex-Mex atmosphere, fun and laid back staff. The food is very good, pretty on par for Tex Mex street food, although the recipes are quite inventive! A good experience all around.

My search for tacos done right landed me here. And as a Texan, I applaud you! Although my sampling of the Steak Fajitas and Carnitas didn't scratch the surface, I was met with flavors I didn't think I'd ever taste here in Portland. Looking forward to trying out more!
