I live clear out in Hillsboro so it’s a special treat when I get to come to the Alibi. It’s one of those rare bars that you can trust will make a great cocktail. They don’t have idiots behind the bar splashing drinks together willy-nilly. Oh no, you order an old fashioned and it’s not only going to be good, it’s going to be the same no matter which ‘tender makes it. This is how you know you’ve found a great cocktail bar. Karaoke is fun, and the food is good. But really, you’re coming here for the great tiki cocktails. Not sugary messes either; legit tiki drinks! Boozy with complex flavors.

Love this bar. Looks like a scene out of a movie. Very dark which adds to the vibe. Food was affordable during happy hour but wasn’t anything amazing. Cocktails were just ok. Karaoke there is fun to experience. Overall a cool bar!

Please adjust your eyes and prepare to be sucked straight into 1947’s gift of tiki. Thank you for keeping this place going!! The food was tasty and the bartender was friendly and enthusiastic!

Went with a group of friends this weekend for the first time. This is a longtime portland staple, I’ve just never stopped by even though I’ve always wanted to go. We all had a good time, the tiki experience certainly delivered. We went mid-day and each of us got separate drinks, basically going through the entire menu. As is typical, the tiki drinks are stiff and not too expensive considering the alcohol content but would’ve loved some discount drink prices during happy hour. The interior is fun, looks great for how old it is. Only one bartender so service was definitely slow and she didn’t seem overly thrilled to be there, which was the only downside.

Fun colorful tiki ambiance with glow in the dark accents. The food was good I especially liked the nachos and the drinks were delicious. All of the staff was friendly and laidback. The karaoke which starts at pm was the highlight of the evening. Great place for family dinners birthdays dates and nights you need to let loose.

Great tiki bar hidden in the Interstate District in Portland. Food was delicious, and so were the tiki cocktails!

My husband and Me love to sing a Karaoke 🎤. Date night, Girls night, Family Union and Birthday Party (only Adults Please) are Best place. DJ operates the Karaoke and give to him your name and song He makes a song list and they called your name and you could sing a song. But They work so hard please give to them some tips.!! Drink and foods are good. Even you don’t like a Karaoke you don’t need to sing you can go inside other part in this pub. Always busy Young and Middle age people a lot. My husband and I had a fun time in there.

With the exception of the kind of depressing gambling machines in the back, a very cool space. Cool bartenders and great drinks.

Alibaba is an old staple of Portland. This place rocks, great food and drinks. Happy Hour till 7 pm, fun cocktails, and great food options for all appetites. The atmosphere is fun with tiki themes decorating the entire venue. Large barceith karaoke, and plenty of room for large groups. Friendly employees and great place.

Atmosphere 5 Food 4 Drinks 3-4 Service 3-4 The vibe was chill but the was some overlapping music from (3) different locations that kinda killed the vibe. Kitchen, lounge and karaoke area. I would make a recommendation to communicate better with each location on the music point. Good music selections but it was a bit like music battle sitting in the transition booths. Try some thunderstorms sound breaks in the lounge, volume down just a bit in the kitchen and that should do. Teriyaki chicken, fish/chips was excellent! 👌Well done Chief! Drinks where good but bowl drink delivery could use a little more flare. Try a little nutmeg over the flame to really wow the customers. It's a small detail that will land a fat tip. Service was a bit DIY, get your own water/menu but then again we came at a transition time 6:30-7 during a shift change. Overall great place, been there for years and the Tiki Bar culture is coming back!🍹🤙

As a self-proclaimed dive bar aficionado ... this place is in its own category. One of a kind vibe ... Est. 1947, I'm convinced much of the original decor and possibly some of the furniture is original ... and it's dark, very dark ... took me 10 minutes for my eyes to adjust.

This place is an amazing local dive that makes me wish I lived in the neighborhood so I could come stumble over regularly. This is a top notch dive with tiki bar theme, excellent drink menu, and karaoke! The karaoke is only doable if you have an iPhone though so that's kind of a bummer. Otherwise come visit this awesome gem.
