Such amazing vibes here. The music is always really fun and the people here are always so friendly. The service is great too! All around awesome place to hang out.
The only negative thing to be said about the 'Thirst is that it can get pretty crowded. But, that is just further evidence that this is a wonderful bar. The food, the drinks, the music, and especially the people are what make this unassuming little place the best bar in Portland, hands down.
If you love open mic nights like me... then you have to check out Sundays at laurelthirst! Lots of locals to mingle with in a cozy chill atmosphere with great food and drink. No Sunday night is complete without it!

What a great little hangout spot to grab a drink and listen to local music. It's a small venue, so if you want a place to sit you'd better show up early. Friendly and laid back. Especially nice when live music is happening. Really good food as bars go. My wife's taco salad came with tortilla chips instead of the dreaded fried bowl. The sauce on my chicken parmigiana sandwich was a delight.
I've been here many times now because they host a fun cribbage league! Yesterday I ordered a burger and it was divine!! Skip paying for the fries, they only give a very small amount, but chips are free and that burger is legit!!
