Classic dive bar vibes but with a great brunch option for a Sunday! They've got all day breakfast I think and have a bustling Sunday afternoon crowd! Staff was very attentive with all I could drink coffee! Would recommend as a neighborhood local spot!
Nice stylish bar. Unfortunately there was no free pool table, but we didn't mind at all, it wasn't their fault. At least it shows that people are interested in this bar.
Our first time but not our last. Everything was great from the food, service, and the wonderful couple (owners maybe?) who kept checking in to see how things were. Fantastic place.

Nice place been there a long time full bar pool tables in and out side seating video poker TVs all over. Been going there for a while allways good stuff.
Great Diner + bar combo! Breakfast hits the spot, the sausage links are right on the money. Pool tables, friendly service, leather booths, and even a parking lot. Will definitely add the Nite Hawk to my breakfast rotation.
This neighborhood tavern is a fixture of north Portland. Located on the max train line at Cesar Chavez, you have safe transportation to get there and enjoy the libations. The food is American style, service quick and courteous, price is reasonable. Food arrived quickly and hot.
I came to play in a drop in pool tournament. I did not eat anything so I can not speak on that, but most everyone there ordered food and it did look well prepared.
The tables were as nice as a Valley table can be. There was new felt on them which means that the tables are cared for however often.
Hopefully the locals don't get mad at me for writing this review. BUT, I'm a "Food Lover", and The Nite Hawk is now My #1 Go-To. "Periodt"!!

Classic diner menu with all your favorites and stiff drinks to accompany it in a very mellow bar atmosphere. It's exactly what you would expect but in all the best ways.
They might have thought I was putting on a show when I stumbled soaking wet through the doors of the Nite Hawk one recent cold and rainy afternoon.

I do enjoy coming to this cafe when I am in Portland the vibe is very laid back. The bartenders have great customer service service I love the different types of food that they offer from breakfast to lunch and dinner. Very clean environment I would definitely recommend this place over and over agai

Lovely bartender, decent pools tables, and drink pours that are so heavy you'd think your glass is made of lead. Definitely can recommend this local joint.
Just came in for cocktails , but the service was great and reasonably priced drinks. We have eaten here before and have enjoyed the atmosphere, service and the food.

The food was delicious and portions were good. They were very friendly and attentive. With regards to the atmosphere, i was a little thrown off with the dim lighting and bar atmosphere. That aside, I would recommend.
Good food and staff is usually pretty good. Prices are great. Good breakfast for under $30.
Loved going to this place when Portland was sane. We had to leave. I hope they still get good business. Best breakfast and Bloody Mary in N PDX for sure.
