Just had the best experience at this family restaurant! Soup dumplings were so flavorful and the dumpling had a great texture. the jianbing was a new one for me and so tasty! The crunchy texture and red bean paste inside were so good. And the people working were very friendly and happy to provide recommendations. Can’t wait to come back!

Wow! Let me start by saying, I don't enjoy restaurants that pretend to be authentic. But this one isn't pretending, the food was very well prepared and very non American style. The portions were huge and the quality was great. Which is really nice, because you usually either get big portions or good quality, not both. The meat sandwich on homemade bread was really tasty, the bread was HARD, but in a bahn mi way, so it still tasted great. The outside was really crunchy and the inside was soft because of the filling. The cold chicken with clear noodles was very different, the noodles were kind of rubbery with a peanut sauce, and the teriyaki chicken was good with an authentic flavoring on it. Next time I'd like to try the homemade wheat noodles. Also if you're looking forward to alot of vegetables, there wasn't many, but had a lot of noodles, chicken and egg. The pork buns were also very tasty, the meat ball inside was soft and lightly flavored. Overall very happy with the meal. And definitely have left overs.

Oh my god, why have I waited so long to try Master Kong?! People have been telling me to come here for years and I finally got around to it, it was fantastic! The Chinese pot stickers are some of the best I've ever had, the jian bing was new to me and fantastic. I'm going to work my way through the whole menu so I can try everything. This is also a great place to come solo, great counter to sit at.

Super delicious food! The food is super unique, delicious, and inexpensive! The staff is super friendly. I especially love the meat folder (you get two with one order) and the cold clear noodles with chicken. They have such unique, delicious flavors with lots of herbs. They also give you three different sauces (a peanut sauce, a soy sauce, and a chili oil) with every order, which tastes great on anything but especially the dumplings and sandwiches. Overall highly recommend!

I have heard good things about this small Chinese restaurant that specializes in soup, congee, and dumplings. The menu has a fried breakfast crepe (jianbing), soup dumplings (Xiao long bao), and meat folder (like a folded meat snack). I selected Chinese Style Pot Stickers and Wonton Noodle Soup to go. You can place your order on the kiosk or mark your items on a paper menu by the front door. It was not busy, and I received my order in about fifteen minutes. The Wonton soup had a nice balance of flavors with pork, shrimp, and mushroom in the dumplings. The broth was not salty and a very smooth taste to it. The noodles were thin and had good taste with the broth. The loosely wrapped potstickers were filled with ground pork and had a nice taste to them. Parking is very limited and it can be difficult to turn onto SE 84th street eastbound. Located on SE Division and SE 84th near busy 82ND Avenue. A nice place to stop for unique Asian style street snacks, delicious noodle soups, and congee breakfast cereal with reasonable prices.

A really casual quick delicious spot. I had the beef brisket noodles, snow pea greens, green onion pancakes, pan fried dumplings, and steamed dumplings. I forgot to take a picture of everything since I was pretty hungry but everything was really solid. Stand outs were the steamed buns and the green onion pancakes.

With all the hype over dumplings in the last few years, it’s really nice to see a super traditional place still doing this food and doing it well. The ordering system really reminded me of being in Japan or Taiwan, everything is mobile first. Have patience. These folks are literally making the stuff from scratch and cranking it out.

A hole in the wall type location that is cozy and delicious. I had a bowl of wonton soup and some soup dumplings. Both were incredibly authentic and tasty! The staff were also nice, attentive and the food came out quickly. I will definitely be back to try more and I recommend others try it out as well! You won't be disappointed!

The dumplings here are just WOW! We had the delicious pan-fried bun, my favorite- the crunch and softness combined made for such an exciting texture. The crab soup dumplings are tasty and served in the most adorable little tins. The handmade pork dumpling were also excellent, the dough is perfe t. We also ordered the brisket and rice, which was a nice balance next to all the dumplings. Great food, excellent value.

Decided to try something new and could not be happier with my decision. The service here was great, however what really shines is the food. Savory pork belly, delicious greens...pork buns steamed to perfection. The portions are LARGE so plenty to share. I was slightly embarrassed at the amount of food we ordered, however am very pleased that I'll have some Master Kong for lunch tomorrow 😋 Really such a pleasant laid-back atmosphere for dinner, will definitely be back!

We went here at 7 pm on a Friday night, and we were happy to see there was seating. You order for yourself at a kiosk right inside the door and seat yourself. We ordered XLB, wonton soup, Jian Bing, and braised pork belly. It was all delicious. Our favorite thing collectively their Jian bing. We will be coming back!

This is a hidden gem! If you love authentic Chinese cuisine then Master Kings is the place to go. This is our second time visiting and we love the food and service here. We all know the stereotypes about Chinese restaurant customer service, forget that, the staff here are friendly, helpful and will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. And did I mention the food? Everything is good, just try it!

Best value I've had in a long, long time. I couldn't believe the amount of pot stickers in one order. The Jianbing with the addition of pork was amazing. I didn't even get to try the meat folder because I got too full, but it'll make a great snack for later. Definitely an addition to my rotation in SE!!
