Love it. Its very small, so be ready for a little wait, but its worth it. I love that we can have a cocktail and enjoy amazing sushi all in one place. The fish is always fresh and the rolls are pretty creative too. Highly recommend it.

This is my favorite Sushi spot in Portland. The food is on point, and I have never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. Try the Monkey Brains! The servers and chefs are awesome and quick, even when it is busy. A big bonus is this Montavilla location, as it next to Roscoe's and close other great bars and shops within walking distance.

Absolutely fantastic food. Great service (though we sat at the bar, where service is always better). Place went from empty to packed in 15 minutes, so show up early! Sign of a great eatery.

Hands down my favorite fresh sushi joint in Portland. Consistently delicious, freaking amazing happy hour menu 7 days a week. Try the monkey brains.

We enjoyed the sushi rolls, Monkey Brain and Hawaiian Poke and the green tea ice cream with sesame gomadango balls with red bean paste!

Miyamoto turned me from an avid sushi hater, to a sushi lover. Everything they make is fresh, and hand-crafted. Absolutely delicious every time! :)

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat. Had the Miyamoto roll and a spicy tuna roll. Presentation was amazing but I didn't particularly like the taste of some of the garnishments on top. Just pushed them off and the rolls itself were great.

Very high quality sushi. Not the cheapest, but sushi is the wrong game for that, you get what you pay for. Outdoor seating is an option for some afternoon Montavilla sunshine.

ALMOST AMAZING If this place had better cocktails and homemade appetizers, they would be 5 stars. The service is top notch, prices are fair, and I love their specialty rolls. Make sure to scan their QR code at the table for access to Roscoe’s tap list. Unfortunately, they don’t have the clever cocktail list I’ve become accustomed to in Portland and I didn’t think much of the one I ordered. Don’t bother ordering the gyoza or takoyaki, as you can buy them at H-Mart and save your money for the sushi. The karaage and the monkey brains are the only items on the appetizer list I would recommend. We also got the Hokkaido scallops sashimi as an appetizer and it was super lackluster. Worst I’ve ever had. We LOVED the salmon belly and really liked the Wassup roll. Spider roll was okay and the California roll was disappointing since it had krab in it, but price seemed to be for crab.

Absolutely love this place. One of our regular favorites. Will both get picked up or eat in. The pickup is very fuss free, staff is on top of helping you get your pickup order. Very appreciative of them. After traveling back home from a trip, this is often a go to for us to have a fuss free dinner at home so we don't have to cook after traveling. Also a really good value, very affordable for a high quality sushi meal.

This is the place. It packs out on Friday and Saturday nights so get there before the rush, or go on a week night. Their Nigiri is some of the best I’ve ever had. I order their Nigiri specials most times, and also enjoy their chirashi bowl. The fish is fresh and cut generously. Can’t wait to go back.

Great restaurant! Has indoor and outdoor seating. The menue has lots of options and provides Gluten Free and vegetarian options as well. Our server was friendly and knew a lot about the sushi. Would definitely eat here again.

A great spot with some outdoor dining (thankfully they have flame heaters!) Sushi comes in generous portions and the quality of the fish is really good! The tunes playing are upbeat and lively! Perfect for keeping the mood energized! They can get a little busy so be patient when wanting service!

Came here as an alternative option when we realized another place was closed. Food & service was pretty good! Overall the sushi qualify was nice. A couple of tasty sushi options. Overall, everyone was happy. We sat indoor, but their outdoor seating where eat table has a small fire would be nice on a slightly warmer day.
