Great food and tasty pancakes, had the kielbasa skillet and Hawaiian pancakes were delicious. Recommend for a Sunday morning breakfast anyday.
Cute little spot with an obvious motif of pigs, they are everywhere. Tables full of folks having what taste like a home cooked meal.
Our server was very friendly and when my Husband ordered she made a recommendation that would not only save him money but even got him more food. We ordered a Pancake plate, Strawberry Crepes, Kielbasa Plate.
The only thing I didn’t particularly care for regarding my meal (Kielbasa Plate) involved the vegetables in my dish. The green pepper and onion were still pretty raw which didn’t taste bad but are more of a texture thing for me. The gluten free toast was delicious.
Very nice people and good service. Loved my strawberry French toast :) The piggy banks were funny and a nice touch. Really liked the retro building.
This restaurant has been around forever. My first encounter eating at a Pig 'N Pancake was at the beach. I had the gluten free pancakes and an omelet. They have the best fluffy browned pancakes I have ever had in my life. Coming back home I saw that we have this restaurant close to home! They are open for breakfast and lunch. 7:30-2:30pm. They offer tables, booths and counter seating. Just like an old fashion diner. The waitresses are nice and knowledgeable and quick with the water or coffee refills. The prices are good. And of course they have pigs in the window sills! I recommend this restaurant for a good old fashioned meal.
This restaurant is a time capsule for the 70's and 80's. The place environment hasn't been updated. Which is the main attraction. The waitress told us she's been there 13 years. Lady with brown long hair. She gave us phenomenal service. The food came out fast and it was delicious and the prices were good. Definitely will go back again.
We had our company Christmas party here for 20 including an open bar. Service was excellent even though we kept her busy all night running back and forth for more drinks and our dinner orders. Food was really good.
Clean old school coffee shop. They even have pull-down cloth hand towels in the bathroom. Haven’t seen those for years and was cheerfully surprised to see them. Food was also surprisingly great! Swedish pancakes with lingonberries was excellent. I’m not a waffle person but had a bite of it which was the best ever - crispy on the outside, so very light on the inside and tasty!!! Can’t wait to go back.
If you're looking for a delicious breakfast spot, look no further than Pig 'N Pancake! This charming restaurant has everything you could want in a breakfast place: friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and most importantly, amazing food.
From the moment you step in the door, you'll be greeted with a smile and seated promptly by the attentive staff. The menu features a wide variety of breakfast options, including classic favorites like pancakes and waffles, as well as unique dishes like their famous Pig 'N Pancake omelet.
Speaking of the food, it's simply delicious! The pancakes are light and fluffy, the omelets are filled with fresh ingredients, and the bacon is crispy and flavorful. The portions are generous too, so you definitely won't leave hungry.
What really sets Pig 'N Pancake apart, however, is the atmosphere. The cozy interior is perfect for a lazy weekend breakfast with friends or family, and the staff really goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home.
Overall, I would highly recommend Pig 'N Pancake to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying breakfast. With friendly service, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere, it's a real gem and a must-visit spot for breakfast lovers.
A long standing basic diner with cute and kitchy pig decor. What surprised me was the quality of the food, especially the bacon. It's actually thick cut and cooked perfectly.
Pig N' Pancake is a little gem on 122nd Street in NE Portland. The food is straightforward with diner essentials for breakfast and a few things thrown in for flair such as the sourdough pancakes and the Kielbasa skillet. The portions are satisfactory and the service can be very good or just good depending on how busy they are. The prices are moderate and the pig motif is fun. It is just a good all around place for breakfast, brunch or lunch.
I don't know why, but my husband & I have taken to calling the Pig & Pancake the Pig & Poke.
Anyway, this location is obviously old and has not been updated, and the atmosphere is that it's a family restaurant.
Despite the décor being less than optimal, the service and food there has been great every time we've eaten there.
And if you're looking for gluten-free pancakes, this is the place to go - they're fantastic!
Piggy & I went for breakfast (Poached eggs, 🥞pancakes, 🐖sausage, 🥓bacon, decaf'☕ coffee) Lisa was our great 👍waitress. She served us last time I had 🥚 eggs Benedict too. Great service & lots of 😃smiles, so 🐷🐷 🐷 "Piggy" moved in and I came home. I may have to go visit another day. 💘 Love, "D"-Pork 💘 Liker!!!!!!
One of our favorite go to breakfast restaurants. Their breakfast food is always great and they have gluten-free options. Their gluten-free pancakes are so good. You don’t even know how excited I was…. I can never find GF pancakes anywhere. The sandwiches are great too. This gluten-free BLT hit the spot. All the little pig statues around the restaurant and at the register are such a cute touch too.
My boyfriend and I came to Newport for the weekend. We decided to eat here on our last day during breakfast time. The food was top notch!
Food is always great, their pancakes are to die for. Staff is friendly with quick service. Love the pigs everywhere!!! 💘🐖
