Eat Oyster Bar - Portland - Photo album

Came here for a pre Thanksgiving with the family and it didn’t disappoint. First the service was great, and the food was amazing. The oysters were really fresh and sweet and all the food they served had the right New Orleans style flavors from the clams, frog legs, gumbo, etoufee, jambalaya, and the
Great selection of oysters and Cajun dishes! We enjoyed a dozen oysters, which included three varieties of Washington (Puget Sound) oysters, each with distinct flavors. Their menu is reasonably priced. Their dark pilsner on draft paired well with the oysters, and the croquettes were quite good too.
Great service, great drinks (try the summer sidecar!), great oysters, great food period. Our bill was so incredibly reasonable even with three drinks and multiple apps and a dozen oysters! The hushpuppies were the hit of the table. Will be back.
Best hole in the wall fresh yet divy! I always sit at the bar. Fun to go alone or with a close group. The service is old school genuine and low brow swaggy. I always get oysters and pickle chips, sometimes the croquettes. I’ve been going here for years, it’s one of my favorites. But don’t tell any p
You can get fresh Oysters at reasonable price. If you are oyster lover try this place.
An oyster staple of Portland. I've been going here since 2016. Luckily the pandemic did not kill it. They have high quality oysters and they do their best to offer the best prices they can given the market. They want to serve the highest quality as affordably as they can. Come stop by for a dozen o
A delightful place! We had an oyster platter, a catfish sandwich, a biscuit, and a couple of drinks. Everything was excellent, the drinks were strong but not excessively so, and the staff were lovely to talk to. We stopped in on impulse and would definitely come back.
Truly an amazing Portland experience. Blackened catfish was delicious and oysters were even better. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Will be back here 100%
They serve some heavy plates. Spice and seasoning is good and decent portions. Food came super fast too,
SO good and delicious! Caught them on a busy night celebrating their 15th anniversary with an oyster special so things were a little behind. But even in the madness, they were still super friendly and accommodating. Food was DELICIOUS! Oysters. Biscuits. Okra. Fries. ALL FIRE 🔥🔥🔥 Even got a cocktail
Great folks and great food and drinks. i’ve tried everything on the menu and it’s all wonderful New Orleans style food. but me and my daughter keep coming back for the fresh oysters, rack em up!
I really enjoy this restaurant. I've been back to it a couple times due to the tasty eats and great atmosphere. Tonight we split 6 fresh oysters, pork rinds, fried pickles, and beans and rice. It was incredibly delicious and filling. This is the sort of place that transports you to New Orleans as so
Went for a Saturday lunch, oyster prices seemed on par with the regional pricing. Gumbo was the best I've had since Biloxi during Katrina clean up. I've tried several others and this finally hit the spot. There's absolutely something more to be said about that. Etouffee was delightful and full of
$1 oysters, $5 mixed drinks (well and a few others) and some food specials for happy hour. Hard to beat. The staff is excellent at what they do and very welcoming and friendly. I was here two years ago and couldn't resist going back. It's nice to see things haven't changed.
This is my favorite restaurant. Outstanding every time. The menu is simple but so tasty. I've yet to try anything that I wasn't impressed with. Quality all the way.
Cool spot with great southern food options. Enjoyed the blackened catfish.
Phenomenal food with a very kind staff! We loved their cocktails, and we ate so many different things! Drinks came fast, apps and food came on time, and the staff was tremendously kind to our table. We loved the fried okra, bread pudding, raw oysters, and rib sandwich! 10/10 would recommend you visi
