The food is excellent, slammin' bbq pulled pork and the fish taco was probably the best I've ever had. The owner is really nice and the restaurant is really mellow, never crowded, and they deliver!
The chicken wings are insanely good. The barbecue sauces are meticulously made. The steak was grilled fresh--best steak burrito I've ever had. Leon is a perfectionist and his high standards translate into quality that elicits cuss words upon first bite. Dude won the BBQ competition 5 times at the Mississippi Street Fair. No tomatoes in the sauce, only mango, pineapple and other fruits. I've never written a review for any restaurant before because...I don't know...just because I'm doing other shit, but this place inspired me. Btw, there was a huge line next door at Porque No which seems even sillier than it did before considering how good the food is at this place. It's gonna blow up once people catch on.
I had the carne asada, it didn't need salsa or cheese. The meat and the tortilla was �. Even Langston was enjoying it and he doesn't even eat meat. We found a new authentic Mexican spot.
A good friend and I got wet burritos, she had the vegetarian and I had the streak. They were amazing and full of flavor! They even put avocado on top of the burrito. I'm going back to get my second burrito soon, pulled pork this time!

I ate too fast to take a picture but astounding food, wonderfully plated, perfect portions. I am bummed I live in SE because this place is delicious and the dining area is small, cozy, and quiet. I'll be back for sure.
Spicy Spoon was phenomenal! Good people! I had the spicy barbecue rice bowl. And it seriously had the best barbecue sauce ever. And if you like your food spicy they will make it spicy. Overall great.

The food is spectacular, the Mexican food and American BBQ is brilliant.
We had the BBQ chicken bowl, a steak quesadilla and a very refreshing Blackberry Lemonade (freshly made BTW) The food was sooooooooo yummy. They have homemade salsas that are super tasty. The Mango salsa was my fave. I will definitely be back. The owners were super friendly.

Amazing BBQ chicken rice bowl! The carrots, zucchini and onions were prepared to perfection. Great atmosphere too. Enjoyed my lunch stop there and had great conversation with the chef and owner!

I had the best experience here! The waffles were delicious and all of the flavors were well balanced. The service was fantastic and I had a lovely time chatting in the outside seating. I had the Georgia Peaches & Cream waffles which truly made my day.

I love the food cart vibes with the resturaunt seating. Surprisingly I loved the burrito more than the waffles and I was expecting to like the waffle more given the name. But I will say that the waffles are executed with more finesse - like the flavor combos are interesting. The burrito is a burrito, but I would be devastated if the burrito wasn't on the menu.

- was the perfect size, like actually sizeable
- had this with bacon
- eggs were perfectly done
- didn't love how fatty and chewy some of the bacon was
Georgia peaches and cream ⭐⭐⭐✨
- my main gripe was that it was soggy
- didn't eat this immediately admittedly, has this after half a burrito, but it was a tiny bit too soft for my liking
- the peaches were super sweet - sort of like canned peaches?
- the waffle was filled with filling which set this apart for me, it's not a waffle you could easily make at home
- it was definitely more creative than the burrito though, and executed with more finesse.

Café de Olla was a new experience for me: Pot coffee mulled with cinnamon and a touch of brown sugar. I don't usually sweeten my hot brown morning potion, but this was quite reviving after exposure to the frosty morning autumnal breezes. Honolulu Waffle was delightful with fresh slices of bananas, strawberries and kiwi fruit along with giant blueberries, all topped with a honey sauce. Good with or without whipped cream. (We had one of each.) Very friendly service, small enclosed dining area and a few more tables on the outside patio, with additional seating on colorful picnic tables at the street where the space might once have been wasted on curbside parking. Bike there, bus there on Trimet route 4, or walk the Mississippi Avenue district. Lovely!

Got the chicken and waffles, absolutely delicious! Owners are fun and experienced cooks, they were happy to see us even though we came in shortly before closing time. Whole group enjoyed our orders.
Amazing waffles! Highly recommend the churro waffle. The service and atmosphere was great too.
We walked in and were greated by a warm smell of home cooking. I got the chicken burrito and the jalapeno poppers. The burrito is big, the flavors have a well seasoned and creamy taste and the onions are slightly undercooked which add a nice crunch.
The cream cheese has some flavor, there are some other cheeses with spices.
The horchatta is good.
The people are friendly and genuinely appreciate the customers.
Woke up craving waffles and decided to give this a try. Super yummy! I got the Monte Carlo and my boyfriend got the Oregon so we had a little sweet and savory combo. We had coffee too. Everything was delicious and homemade. The owners are very friendly as well. I’d recommend Waffle City!
